This place has been a roller coaster sometimes having great food and great service and times when their method of delivery to customers have flaws. Pollo chooses to seal the bag after packing your food which can lead to missing contents going unnoticed by the restaurant staff. Since our package was “to-go” we picked it up and left. Showing our trust in the restaurant. Sadly this time it burned us. We literally paid for items we did not receive with the the restaurant doing nothing to immediately correcting the situation. This leads to suspicion or lack of confidence that my food will be prepared with the best intentions. Now I have to inspect each bag from el pollo loco because they’re crazy about not protecting our interests but ripping us off.
Amazing food!!! I never ever ever he has food but this was absolutely delicious! Oh my gosh so fresh, and honestly so tasty and their hot sauce is amazing! Max was amazing and his customer service made our whole night.He put some special hot sauce in the bag for us to take home with her food, soooo good!Finally a restaurant that really had hot sauce! Thank you Max you were amazing! Love Max love this El Pollo Loco!!Thank you so much for a great dinner and great service!
Ordered food via the Uber Eats app and my order arrived with missing/incorrect items. I’m handling the issue with Uber Eats but please train your staff to be more cautious of people’s orders. In general Pollo Loco always gets my order wrong when I order out, whether I choose your location or another. Your food is delicious but my experience with your company is very frustrating.
03/08/22 the service was just as bad as the food. it should be illegal to call what they served us chicken. it literally tasted like they got the pieces that fell on the floor to make our tacos. it was absolutely inedible.03/16/22 UPDATE: I received a call from the manager for this location on Mason Rd in Katy. The fact that she was genuinely sorry for the meal we received is enough to change my mind about giving them another chance. I'll update again when we actually go back.

So the lady at the window asked if I wanted the chicken chipotle burrito I said no I want the chicken avocado one she said okay sorry and then gave me the wrong one… I get home and notice this and try to call the manger hangs up the phone I call back they hang up again I call back and they unplugged the phone went straight to voicemail would NEVER go back
Been going here for 2 years and never had a bad experience. Grande chicken bowl is my go-to! Great semi-healthy food option!
