SALTY SALTY SALTY.We’ll never come here again. The brisket was salty, the beans, the Mac and cheese, even the baked potato’s skin was rubbed in salt. The BBQ sauce?!I can practically feel my blood pressure rising.
I was hesitant to try after a friend told me how bad it is, but it had been some time and I figured they would get their cook sorted out, man was I wrong. The best way to describe their meat was overly salty beef jerky that I paid an arm and a leg for. We had the beef ribs, brisket moist (more like crunchy and dry) pork ribs, turkey, and sausage. The only thing that was okay was the sausage. The bark on everything else was so chewy that their sharp knifes didn’t make it all the way through a single slice so we had to use dull butter knives to hack through the bottom of the bark to get our meat fully sliced. Looking through the reviews others have had the same problems, and the business has had plenty of time to correct the problems but have failed to do so. So I highly recommend you not waste your money here, there are better options near by.
Absolutely horrible food. Paid $50 for two people. Could not eat it. Go somewhere else!
This is nowhere near as good as the Coopers in Llano. The pork ribs were huge but tough and tasteless. There were very few people there at 1:00 pm. I can see why. I will not be back. This is low end BBQ.
Environment was great, service amazing, even kept me company since I ate alone. Beef rib is unbelievable, you’ll probably only be able to eat one rib. Going back I’d do the Beef rib and turkey! Sides were good as well.
We rented the Llano room to celebrate my sons birthday, Jose and his staff made sure everything was top notch! Great customer service and the BBQ is outstanding! Brisket is moist and flavorful. Great place to just have BBQ or to host a gathering. Very happy customer!
Trash, sad an animal died to taste like that horrible. Brisket was extremely tough, almost solid. $300 for a box of trash bbq. #midwaybbqforlife!
not sure why this place is even still open. it has to be running in the negative badly. overly salty dry meat, tasteless sides. beans tasted just of salt. management and employees had a "i don't care attitude" i left over half the food on the table. was barely able to get my money back...left feeling completely disgusted
The platter was packed with pork ribs, pulled pork, smoked chicken, brisket, and a half pound of burnt ends. I'm not a big fan of pork but I was blown away by the ribs and pulled pork. But the star of the show was that brisket. It was absolutely delicious, tender and full of flavour. The burnt ends were just as good.Delicious food, good customer service and friendly people
Tuesday, 4-19-22, close to closing time. Staff very friendly and welcoming; 3/4 pound wet brisket, 1/2 a sausage; bacon mac and cheese, standard free beans.Brisket stringy, a little on the tough side; beans were superhot, mac & cheese cold. Free onions and pickles ok, but not really fresh. Sausage had a good flavor but the skin was rhinoceros hide. MUG root beer from the fountain was good; BBQ sauce too watery too vinegary. I never eat the plain white bread they serve but its common at BBQ places. Only nine other adults and six or seven children total, they all left before I did. For me, music was too loud. I give the staff five stars but the rest of the stuff one, maybe two.The bill was a little under 35 dollars, and I didn't think there was that much value for the money. I never eat the kind of bread they serve but its all there was, of course and you get the liquid marg. stuff for butter. I'd been here before and it seemed to me the meat was better then. Of course, that was before the pandemic. .
