This was the worst chinese food I have had in Houston. I checked it out due to high number of reviews and high rating. I ordered Sweet and Sour chicken as well as some House Fried Rice. The chicken in the Sweet and Sour chicken was over fried, giving off a burnt flavor. The seasoning was lacking on the chicken too. The sauce was very thick and sweet, not a hint of sourness. The fried rice was slimy and over seasoned. Not a pleasant meal, and definitely terrible to used as leftovers. Chang's is no good.
So, I moved here to Houston roughly 18 years ago. This whole time I had not found a Chinese restaurant that I enjoyed. The chicken and beef taste and texture was not familiar and not delicious like I was used to. Well, as fate would have it, I was introduced to Chang’s! Taste was delicious, texture was familiar, portions were huge, price is unbelievably cheap and service is great! If you love Chinese food then Changs is your place to go. I definitely will be delivering them some Blue Bell coupons!
Establishment staff girl over phone not pleasant over phone. Pick up order. Appetizer platter part of order everything on it burnt. Called to let them know. Unpleasant girl on phone told grumpy man. Grumpy man and girl nearly yelling tones of voice says nothing was burnt. Okay so why would I be calling? Confusious say be sure to check order before leaving. They deny so here are pictures.
Boy this is the most stingiest restaurant! I use to love them but they will not see another dollar of mine! They only sent me 30 ml of sauce for a meal that can feed at least 3 ppl! ? Food dry as hell...
The food is amazing. I've had the house lo mein. The house rice. The chicken on a stick. ALL fantastic. Delivered and crazy amounts of food. AMAZING. I had something else delivered the other day. I remenmber now. It was pan fried dumplings. OMG!!!!!! Sooooooooo good and fresh. I hate to gush about somewhere cause once you do it changes and not for the better sometimes, but you guys are awesome. Please please,please keep up the fantastic job and keep your competive prices. You guys are awesome. Thank you
Probably best Chinese food I have tried in the US. I am from Venezuela and this Chinese food tastes very similar to the one there. The prices are very good too. Excelente and friendly server
This used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant but not anymore. Just rude, when you call, they put you on hold forever and hardly acknowledge you when you are in the store. VERY disappointing. I live in Katy but l now drive to the one in Sugarland were they care about your business.
Absolutely great food and even better customer service!The waitress perfectly timed each meal to ensure everything stayed warm, asked if she needed to send anything back to stay warm and even asked about our food allergies!Somehow kept my beverage cup full, which I greatly appreciated. The food was perfect, the fried items were golden and extra crispyI cannot rave more about this place, absolutely cannot wait to come back

I ordered on.line and pick the best rated. Never had chinese food in Texas. Did not disappoint. Food was good Thank you. When I come back into town, I will stop in for a set down full service meal. Thank you
