Captain Hook' s customer service was excellent from the, hello. The resturant is really cute, with four small tables.The lady that took our order was very knowledgeable. We ordered chicken strips, chicken wings and fried shrimp. The meals arrived quickly to our table and came with French fries. The food was seasoned well. We asked for extra crispy and it was perfect. The special dipping sauce was excellent.FYi: there is a drive-thru. I would definitely return.Thank you so much
This was our second time here and the food is always great! The wings are full size and the catfish was really tasty. Today we had the tenders platter and i shared the gizzards and livers with my son and its so much food that we still have some leftover! The owner is always really friendly and a pleasure to speak with and the sauce he makes himself is excellent.
OMG!!! Listen, this is one of those times!! THE REVIEWS ARE ACCURATE!!! I was on a 'run your account into overdraft or starve' situations..like college Ramen on borrowed water type of budget...chunky peanut butter on a spoon and chew slowly, you hear me?! I needed something hot, cost effecient and stretchable (2 meals at least). Whew honey!!! THIS PLACE WAS LITERAL LIFE!!1. The chicken was hot and fresh w/a side of crispy and simultaneously tender!!2. FLAVOR for daysssss even the fries!!! Perfection!3. STEPHANIE tried my life not telling me their "special sauce" was addictive and good as all get out!!!!! I told her that it was my first time visiting.4. The service was fast and customer service on point!!I bit my tongue this food was so good!! I was stuffed, looked down and still had 5 whole wings left!!!I will most definitely be back!!
This is the Best fried chicken place in Katy Texas hands down and the owner and staff have excellent customer service. I don’t go to Popeyes no more. They cater to the community’s taste bud.
Captain Hook’s fried chicken is hands down the best chicken in Katy. His seasoning which he refers to as a “lemon pepper” is addictive. It’s not overwhelming on the lemon side or the pepper but retains a perfect balance. Pairing it with the light batter, giving it a heavenly crunch, and the juicy, succulent wings in absolutely divine. I’ve had no better meat of this sort in my mouth. His catfish is always fresh and flaky. His hush puppies always hit the spot. He even has a homemade lemonade that is so refreshing I wouldn’t mind drowning to death in it. He also doesn’t make it until you order it. I consistently eat here weekly and he’s never gotten my order wrong, which I can’t say about any other restaurant I’ve ever been to more than once.

Just looking for a new place and was beyond surprised! The owner had great hospitality. And then I tried the food. You ever bit something then looked at it to make sure what you’re tasting came from what you just bit? The food was amazing! Then my wife and I were offered lemonade. You ever drank something then looked at the cup to make sure what you’re tasting came from the cup you just drank from? Great food and Great service. You can never go wrong with that.

We were looking for some fish for dinner and it was almost closing time. We pulled up to their drive thru to see if they would serve us and he did even though closing time was just a few minutes away. That was already a plus right there. The food was hot, fresh, and amazing even after our 10 minute or so ride home in the cold. I really enjoyed their special sauce with my shrimp & fries. I thought it was so cool & interesting that they offered 5 different types of fish to choose from. So I went with fried Cod. Their shrimp was so good too. My husband had the fried liver & wings. He enjoyed them very much. We are talking about going there again soon. If yall like some good Southern fish & chicken this is the place to go. Hot and freshly cooked for you.
