I had lunch there with my boyfriend this past Saturday, and I was blown away! The sausage was incredibly tasty, the ribs were so yummy, and the brisket was awesome! I also got a side of macaroni and cheese, and it was phenomenal! I’d go back just for a bucket of it.Besides the food, the vibe in the place is awesome! The staff is great and a lot of fun, the other customers were nice people (we gave one couple a rib because we had SO MUCH food), and it was just a fun place to eat some Q.I’m glad they’re moving soon…the parking lot situation was not the best, but it’s still some great food from some great people.
I wish I'd snapped before photo, but here's the after, lol. This place has some of the best barbecue I've ever eaten. We had the brisket, sausage and mac and cheese. Absolutely delicious. Oh, and friendly service too. Can't wait to go back!
My husband picked up bbq brisket, turkey, ribs and sausage today with sauce, slaw and potato salad - take out. I did not eat ribs or sausage but the brisket, turkey, sauce, slaw and potato salad are some of the best I've eaten. Sauce is just right - can taste vinegar, sweet and black pepper. Slaw is not like any other but so good I drank the juice from the takeout container! Can' say enough about how good it all is. Highly recommend!
Some of the very best 'Q to be devoured anywhere! The moist end brisket was melt in your mouth tender and full of flavor, this is now in my hall of flame brisket....that good! They had a caprese special of the day sausage that was 5 stars....cheese dried tomatoes and beef...yum! The pork ribs were some of the most tasty tender ribs. The 'Q was so good I didn't even think of trying their sauce...maybe next time. The cilantro jalapeno slaw was epic but the tater salad was even better...if that's possible. This place is popular and they don't have enough parking so go early, they open at 11:30 am most days.... so we showed up at 11:10 am and were the first through the door. They're moving to a new location in 60 to 90 days and the parking should be better.
First, you know you're in a good spot when you show up a couple of hours after opening and they say they only have brisket and some sides left. My wife and I shared a half pound of brisket with their mac and cheese and a special side they had for the day which was corn, bell peppers, brisket and beans. Brisket is forever ruined for me in Utah as I now know what it's supposed to taste like. I will be back again when we are in the area and hope that we can try their famous Beef Ribs.
The best in town. All the choices were great. It is a proper "craft bbq" place. The lady is straight forward and loved her communication. Both the products and the service are high standard.
Finally checked this box on my BBQ tour. Great staff and I got a little interview before ordering so I could order lunch correctly. The brisket was great. I got the chopped beef sandwich and pinto beans which were fantastic. Be prepared for a small dinning room and limited parking, both worth putting up with for this very good BBQ restaurant.
The best BBQ in Katy and surrounding areas. Brett definitely knows how to BBQ. You must check out the beef rib! It’s huge and does not disappoint. Everything they offer is wonderful. You have to try for yourself.
This place is in a small strip center. Between a barber shop and a tire store. Don't let that fool you. Great que. Great brisket, with a good rub. The sausuge is house made and has a great taste. The chicken is juicy and smoked perfectly. The cole slaw is more of a cabbage slaw. Not my preference. Can't wait until they get a bigger place. Which I hear is coming.
Talk about good!?!?A friend of mine told me I needed to eat here as their brisket was fantastic.I did.I am so happy we ate here. The food was beyond the best I've had. Their pulled pork was amazing, everything was but I really loved the brisket and the pulled pork. Will be back for sure. Told all my friends they needed to go and go early because they sell out a lot.I liked the small atmosphere inside, only a few tables and the bar to eat at.Overall we are so happy to have had a wonderful meal here and thankful for the crew there that was so polite.
