Our server Brenda was amazing. She greeted us and everyone else when she could. That was nice it really showed that they work together as a team. It was our first visit there. And we saw on multiple occasions staff talking to the other patrons in life conversations engaging as a friend. That was pretty cool and unique. Food had really good quality ingredients and made to our preference.
A beary nice breakfast experience. ? It's not particularly easy to get to from I-10 but worth the effort. I had the NY Strip Steak and Eggs with bscuits, asked for the side of gravy; the Missus had the 2 Egg Combo with Bacon. All was excellent as was the coffee. Clean place, friendly staff. Recommended for any meal really (I've had lunch and dinner before at their Cypress location), but breakfast is their highlight for sure.
Tri-tip was excellent, awesome bread and juicy steak. Served with a boatload of delicious sweet potato fries. Easily enough food for two meals. Food came out super quick.
The best Steak and eggs breakfast around! Reminds me of Perry’s Cafe in San Diego. Love this place!! If you haven’t tried it…you are missing out!!!
Bacon was great, crispy not limp. The scrambled eggs were great, needed a little salt. The sausage and ham, I prefer the ham though. Hash browns, I didn't really care for. The sweet tea was some of the best I've ever tasted, says alot in Texas. NOW for the only thing I've thought about since my last visit a 9 month ago, the freaking sweet cream pancakes hands down the headliner, with syrup and that whipped spread. Holy smokes it can't be beat, we ate in around 8:30pm. My son had chicken tenders. Cooked hot and fresh, huge amount of hot French fries. The tenders were sorta of smaller, but with the Biden recessions and chicken shortage I understand the smaller pieces. It also came with bacon ranch? I thought was super good, my son didn't, The sweet cream pancakes and sweet tea, 5 star! The rest 3.5 to 4 star!Oh the waiter was good, I didn't get his name though.
Last night I brought a large group of ladies (24). There was only one server for the group and he did an excellent job! Thank you Ricardo. We appreciate all of your hard work. The food was great too.

Hi Black Bear FAMILY!!! My FIRST experience today was nothing short of AMAZING!!! My best friend & I have wanted to stop in & eat for awhile.. however always busy. Since this is her birthday month I decided to surprise & treat her to breakfast. Jarod greeted us with a warm smile & greeting as we walked in @630am. We told him this is our 1st time & he assured us we would love it. Then our friendly, cheerful, attentive & knowledgeable waitress Brenda was super great too!!! Then to top it all off we received a blessing…another customer/young man (from California)who sat behind us paid for our meals!!! We were totally surprised when Brenda told us. We will totally be back again… thanks Black Bear FAMILY- everything was GRAND!!!

Paid over $9 for a large cup of hot matcha with almond milk including taxes and tips but the internet was rubbish here. Only managed to log in to accept the check in process but it’s so weak that you can’t do anything. I’m sorry but I won’t be back. The service was extremely good to be honest and the place is chic but if you want to find a place to work or study, this is not a place. Disappointed that I have to find another location still with a full cup of matcha. They have a drive through and ample parking.
