Amazing Restaurant- tried it for HRW & had no regrets!

This dinner was superb! The owner, Casey, was amazing. He picked a beautiful bottle of African pinotage for our dinner and checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Authentic and very unique menu. He’s South African and his wife is Argentinian. Creative mix of both cuisines! Thoroughly enjoyed it! We will be back!

Food was good, large portions, big selection on the menu. Location is in a strip center

The brunch menu had a wide variety of entrees to choose from...it was hard to decide which one to order! I ended up the Belgian waffles with peri chicken and it was sooo good. My sister and my 10-year old also enjoyed their meals. Mimosas were an awesome value and tasted so good! Our server Landon was SUPER attentive. I'm definitely planning to return even though its a bit out of the way from where I live. You won't be disappointed trying this place if you love both traditional and ethnic flavors.

First...the food was terrific and very fresh. We all enjoyed our meal. The service was good. My only gripe was that no one offered to move my walker to a place where it wasn't in the way of the prople beside us or us. It was very awkward. Also know this place can be loud. Even my 26 yr old son commented about how loud it was. We were there on a Sunday afternoon, so the place was busy, and the energy and vibe was good...just loud for us to have a conversation.

Generally good food but the service was so-so with a long wait for the appetizer, although the main dishes came out I reasonable time. Main reason for a less than good overall review was there was music inside the restaurant and it was so loud you could not talk to or hear the other person at the table.

Food was outstanding and our server, Stephanie, was very helpful and personable. Highly recommend it.

My family and I visited from Austin and chose to have breakfast at Astor because the menu looked so different from a tipical breakfast restaurant and it didn't disappoint. It wasn't just the variety and the delicious flavor from all the yummy food but how nice and humble was to get the owner/chef to stopped by our table to check on us. We loved everything about it; food, beautiful place and great service. We're definitely coming back. Thanks KC

My first time visiting this restaurant and I was not really impressed. The food was just average. Considering it was an African cuisine inspired establishment I was expecting the peri peri dish to have more flavor and more spice. The potatoes were good though. Probably will not patron this establishment again as I drove 45mins for a just okay over priced meal. Also the mimosas are tiny and certainly not worth the price tag. Oh well you never know unless you give it a try and I did.

Mother’s Day!
