The mansaf is amazing !! My favorite in Houston and I've tried a lot of places. The to-go box was overflowing with rice and meat so that was awesome and can feed multiple people. The mansaf sauce (which is super important to me) tasted great which made the mansaf overall perfect. Meat was juicy and flavorful and rice was cooked just right. Can't wait to be back again and get more!!
It’s a great place. Don’t hesitate to order the lamb shank. And the kochari.
Hey Katy if you haven't been already check out this great Food truck spot off of South Mason rd. That's just one of many food trucks with all types of food!
I stumbled upon this place while waiting for my car to be ready at the firestone shop next door. It's located in a shopping strip mall and for some reason still has a logo for Titos on the door. The menu was large but I just wanted something for lunch, so I got the chicken shawarma wrap and asked to substitute a side salad instead of the French fries which they did. The wrap was grilled, which gave the pita a nice crisp/crunch and the salad was very fresh. The only reason I dropped a star is because the chicken didn't seem to be fresh from a sharwarma but instead reheated. It still tasted good but wasn't expecting it. It seems to be family run food shop, which I love to support.
Very delicious foods. The staff was very helpful and polite. Would recommend anyone to go
Great PlaceThey gave us complimentary teaAnd the owner saw me trying to get ice from the soda machine it didn't work so he apologized and gave me a free sprite can and water bottle on the houseThat was super generousThe place is cleanThe food quality is awesome
I went there in happy hour for half roasted chicken. The register guy said the deal is for a quarter chicken while they have a large sign in front of their store for half chicken $7.59. He told me the it's not make sense half chicken for $7.59 and the original price was only $9.99.I end up eating Gyro Lamb and the food quality was great.
Fresh and authentic. menu is ripping at the seams with options. Titos even has a Hookah Patio!!who wouldve known??. Absolutely great ambience out there just a laid back family restaurant with an upbeat patio vibe. freindly staff is a plus!
Went here on a saturday around 12 pm. Place was pretty quiet until we got ready to order on the counter. Then several parties came in.There is a 3 percent cash discount if you are paying that way.I ordered the mixed kabab (13.99) and the Mombar (12.99). The items were served around 15 minutes.Mombar is basically an animal intestine stuffed with rice and spices and made into a sausage. Sauce accompaning this is a thin sour liquid. Rice was firm with well defined grains and was quite savory. I didn't see much meat inside. Very disappointing. It took me a while to finish it with it mostly being basically rice sausages. Not recommended for the lack of meat.Mixed kabab was way better. Kind of pricy, but executed very well. I particularly liked the rice with vermicelli. Full of flavour and firm grains. Rich but not greasy. One the best rice dishes I ever had. You must try any platter that has this. Kofta was excellent, ground beef was very soft and well seasoned. Chicken was marinated in yogurt and was very tender. Beef was good as well. This also comes with some tahini and garlic dip for the two slices of flatbread.Overall a great place to have quality food. Again if they put meat in the Mombar it would be excellent.
We enjoyed a taste of Egypt’s delicious food at this restaurant and they have great stuffed grape leaves
