Had a 12 PC buffalo wing and they arrived broken?.....I started with the 4 or 5 that appeared normal and took a chance on two more but by then I had my own little pile of bones I had to keep spitting out. I understand that can sometimes be common for one or two but I was served a basket of broken bone chicken.I guess I could've brought it to their attention and asked for a replacement but I'm not one to return food. It was cooked and served hot. It just looked like the random pieces of chicken at the bottom of the frozen bag.This may be the first time I've left uneaten food on the table. (Didn't help that it was a birthday lunch but not raging out on this review because of it...... Technically it was a free meal for me as someone else paid)I know a lot of ppl that love this place and I believe they all recommended the daily specials so that's probably where I went wrong?I always try to think of some sort of positive part to leave in the review but even the booths were weird(always do tables with chairs)........I guess I'll say the fountain drink was on point.
Another restaurant that I am torn over in doing a review for. The food was good but not WOW or exceptional. I got a grilled chicken sandwich that really needed some marinade or something more flavorful to give it a wow factor. The chicken fried steak was good but not as tender as we had hoped for. It did however have a light batter and was all meat which is great. The chips and dip were good (mostly the chips, they were the seller here). The atmosphere felt rushed. We got the chips and dip at the same time we got the meal when that really should have come first. The space is not large and it felt like tight sitting. There are seats that are too low compared to the table height. I will return and try other food items. I love eating simple foods but I like them to have more flavor. Looking forward to going back and trying something new.
I came here with a group for brunch. Some food options were great, others were just okay. Pancakes were heavy and dense, not light and fluffy like a pancake should be, and the chicken fried steak was very salty. Some good food items were the Eggs Benedict and the chicken fried chicken.I've been trying to find a good diner type restaurant in the area and it seems like most places I try are more of a miss than a hit.
Great place, delicious food. Order over the phone and pick up at a counter was quick. Food was fresh and ready within given timeframe. Will order again.

Honestly one of the best places I’ve had on this end of town. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Food was fresh and large portions at a fair price. Awesome place!
Nice, chill, laid back place. We got the beef fajitas and they were really good.No alcohol sold here though.
Good food in an informal and intimate setting. Service is always excellent, the selection is amazing. Great place to have lunch with a friend, our a family outing.
Great lunch in Katy! Classic steak fries were awesome. Fresh baked buns and sliders made a difference. So fluffy and delicious.
I hate to be so disappointed in this place. Went in for lunch with my brother and SIL and it was great, burgers were good fries were excellent and onion rings nice as well. I have ordered to-go a few since then and the food has been mediocre at best. Both times the fries were not salted at all, and they need to be salted while fresh to be good imo. The second time they were only about 3/4 cooked. Steak was ordered medium rare and it was well done. There was zero seasoning on the steak. Cheddar peppers and mozzarella sticks are lower quality and taste worse than many drive thru fast food restaurants. We finished neither. The only things that we enjoyed on any of the to go orders were the baked potato and the chicken tenders.The service was friendly, but I think there is a lack of training or quality of kitchen staff between lunch time and dinner time, or we just got very lucky the one time I was there at lunch. They have a varied menu and I was looking forward to trying most of it, but I doubt I will be back.
