first time ever at this restaurant and this is their second location. their original first restaurant is in the Chinatown area.so I'm glad to be able to try them out here in Katy area. I guess their specialty is crawfish and other seafood dishes hence their name of the restaurant which is etsy I came for! their crawfish it was good and hot fresh deliciousthey had different flavors, I had their lemon kumquat flavor (something like that don't remember) and their house special which I like better. but their crawfish was a bit small I know which would be the case since it's the end of the season but still I thought would be bit bigger.also tried other seafood dishes as well it was OK
I order my food by phone, went to pick and it’s all packed up. When I get back to work I open my bag and surprisingly this is the amount of curly fries in my order that cost me $4.99. I rather go to Jack in the box and get the large for $3.99 and get a lot more. I called and no manager available and really rude over the phone. They expect for you to call later. ?
The staff is nice. Food good. To many different things on menu my suggestion is to pick a few and make those great.
These little chicken wings really made me mad and they did not come with fries feeling all the space these little chicken wings look like they from pigeons they ought to be ashamed serving me that wish I had checked the box before I had picked it up and left. Pay attention that this is not the same place that used to be here I also got alligator bites that were good with fries and two pieces of corn and two potatoes everything was else with seafood and I don't even because I'm Hebrew wanted to give it a chance cuz it was around the corner I am good with it.
Forgot to take pictures because the food just looked so good and I instantly started eating! Amazing seasonings, good amount per servings and basically just perfection overall. We came in around 9:20 and it was pretty packed but the hostess was very kind to gave us a menu and write down what we want as we waited for a table. It only took about 10 minutes for us to be sat down and honestly I expected longer. Our waiters were VERY VERY amazing. They constantly helped us with anything we needed. We had to be seated down at a pretty small table since the place was very packed and we ordered a lot of food so it was pretty inconvenient. The waiters saw and helped us set up a new table connecting to ours and it was great! We ordered around 7 plates of food but the total came out to be only $124 which we think is quite a steal. I love both Ocean Crawfish down by wilcrest and here but I will definitely be going to this branch more since it’s closer!!
The food is good. But one bad thing that the store never pick up phone for order togo. I hate that i have to drive 20 min there order then wait outside when i can save a lot time if they pick up the phone for order. Losing business
The food from the previous owners was way better. Very disappointing, crawfish and fried rice were awful. Definitely not going back.
Not only is the food amazing but they also care about the service and quality they provide to each customer. There was a minor mistake with my order and they were apologetic and rectified the situation immediately. Best place for crawfish in Katy and Houston, overall.
Crawfish were medium to small. Seasoning was on outside and actually caked on some that you couldn't tell it was crawfish. Very disappointed after reading their reviews and how good they were said to be. Price was reasonable.
