This place has the best New York style pizza in the area. Trust me, I know. It's reasonable, they are so nice, and the pizza is delicious. The red sauce is excellent, the white sauce or "Alfredo" is fabulous, and it's just a great experience. What a great family and local busily to support! Go get you some pizza!
I’m originally from NJ so very particular about pizza. Having lived in Irving for many years I’ve been struggling to find a local pizzeria that is as good as pizza from the east coast or close enough at least. Vinnie’s is a great alternative! I think it’s better than Vito’s on Esters Rd. I ordered a large cheese pizza yesterday for $14. I knew just from smelling it that it’s probably pretty good. The pizza itself is light, thin, and very flavorful. Add some crushed red pepper flakes and Italian seasoning if you like. But it’s just as good without it. The crust is crunchy when you bite into it and then chewy with flavorful dried up tomato sauce along the edge. Like I said, this is great alternative in comparison to what I grew up eating. Give them a try and go in cautiously optimistic. I think you will enjoy it!
My boyfriend & I were searching on google to find a good place to eat. Vinnie's exceeded our expectations. Very grateful to have had the opportunity to come here. Very welcoming and phenomenal food! I ordered the penne alla vodka. It was so delicious! Definitely recommend going to here.
Absolutely fantastic dining establishment. Got the Meatlover’s Stromboli and was blown away. Perfect cheese, meat, and bread combo. Amazing, friendly workers made sure we feel basically at home. God bless.
I wish I could give 10 stars absolutely amazing food and service. Fresh, homemade food. The best Fettuccine Alfredo I have ever had! This will be a weekly spot for me to have lunch. I can't say enough good things about this spot. I can't wait to try everything on the menu.
First time eating here. Will NOT be the last. I got the Meat Lovers Stromboli and my girlfriend got the Chicken Murphy. Both were exquisite and delicious. The bread was delicious and the pasta was cooked to perfection. Next we are thinking Calamari and pizza or lobster ravioli. Come here if you ever have the chance. You won't be disappointed and will leave happy.
Can't beat the food and you will be treated to proprietors that really care about your satisfaction and offer their friendship. Having frequented their prior location, we drove over 40 miles to say hello and enjoy our favorite dishes again. We weren't disappointed!
Walked in the other day on a whim after a really long day running errands. And it was a very nice experience, the ambiance of the location honestly calmed me, dont know if it was the music or the comfy aesthetic but I felt at home in a weird way lol. Took home 2 of their pastas. The Baked Ziti and Fettuccine Alfredo, and they were both delicious! I'm definitely coming back. As they prepared them I just kept looking at the menu to see what I was gonna try next time I come in. Highly, highly recommend!Definitely check it out, it's right next to Target! No more arguing over what to pick up for dinner on the way home.
On the recommendation of a friend, I decided to try out Vinnie's. So glad I did. I ordered the large special pizza which has most of the toppings available. I switched my green peppers to jalapeno. It was very good. I also ordered a couple of the garden salads which were also really tasty. I like to eat the edge crust kind of like a bread stick with my salad and their crust is nice for this. As a former GM of L.C.'s pizza and another independent pizza carry out in Irving I can appreciate the work that goes into making pizza like this. Also as anyone who has had both, I can appreciate the difference between pizza baked in a pan and run through an oven on a conveyor vs. hand stretched dough baked in the old style pizza ovens without a pan. It was my first time there but I plan to return for some of their other menu items. Lovely people! Great food! There is space if you would like to dine in. I'm in a hurry to get back there to try their Philly cheese steak. Bon Appetit
Came across this restaurant today, tried it and was very pleased; had the shrimp Alfredo, also the garlic bread with cheese and tomato; would highly recommend this restaurant, the food was excellent and the staff was very friendly.
