Excellent food and service. Really good Tex-mex. I really enjoyed the tamales, which are really hard to find that are actually good. Good skinny margarita.
Years ago, my first date with girlfriend (now wife) was here. We have over the years frequented Via Real when we are in the area, but also special trips to reminisce. every point of the whole establishment is not only above it's truly enjoyable. wife had the ceviche chilled shrimp and bay scallops with lime and tomato, while I had the grilled chicken pasta w/ strips tossed in red chile pasta, parmesan cheese, jalapeño cream sauce and pico de gallo. finished the evening with white chocolate creme brulee with elegant white chocolate and Grand Marnier crème brûlée topped with caramelized sugar. waitstaff are the best in the area, they are personable, attentive, and friendly. You will do yourself a dis-service not to try this lovely, etablished GEM.
1st things 1st STAFF IS AMAZING. Nice clean. Great ambience 5 stars for that but 4 for everything else. Guac was terribly bland. Salsa great! Chocolate cake was good. Carrot cake is different because of the type of frosting they use. I think waiter said it's a white chocolate cream cheese type but seemed like I also tasted a bit of lemon somewhere in the bite I had. It was good but just different than expected.Enchiladas were average. Sea bass was good but didn't care for the mashed potatoes in the pineapple boat that I tried a bite of. I'll have to return and try something different. Find something I really like because I love the atmosphere and the OWNER is delightful.
Lunch during a weekday. We went there for lunch. Friendly and prompt service. quiet and nice atmosphere. Chips and salsa were very good Margaritas were good. Queso dip was a bit watery but ok. Mains disappointing. These were Tacos but more like a mix between Taco and Enchilada. The Sea Bass was smelling really fishy and tasted so fishy and with cheese poured over was not a good combo. their special taco with beef lacked flavour and felt again like and mix between enchiladas taco. The Creme Brûlée was phenomenal. So three for the service, aps, drinks and desert. Mains very disappointing.
If I could give more starts I absolutely would! This place was amazing and we visited twice in our short stay. The owner was absolutely an amazing woman! The service and hospitality was beyond top notch and that’s not even talking in account the food! We tried as much as we could and nothing disappointed. I highly recommend the not on the menu steak that comes out on fire and is truly the best steak I have ever eaten! A must go to place when in town from now on!
My girlfriends and myself enjoyed a nice lunch this week. It was my first time and definitely won’t be my last. I had the special surf and turf lunch with a top shelf margarita. The service was great and every efficient.
My husband and I were in town from Georgia to meet with some business team members and stayed an extra day to enjoy the Valentine’s weekend. This restaurant had great reviews so we decided to see if they had room for us. Everyone, from the hostess at the front, our server, Orlando, the floor manager and the owner, Miss Fran, were warm and welcoming. The food was spectacular! I had the Adobo shrimp, crab and spinach enchiladas and my husband had the pecan crusted sea bass. We ended our meal by sharing a giant slice of carrot cake. Everything we had was absolutely delicious but the thing we’ll remember most was the way the people made us feel so welcome. Thank you to everyone in this restaurant family for the experience and we’ll definitely be back next time we visit the area!
Chose this restaurant while in Irving visiting a friend because of its excellent reviews. It did not disappoint. All the menu items sounded so good but with our waiter’s suggestions we chose the Chicken Monterrey and the Cabo San Lucas Shrimp. Both came with great presentation and both were so so good! Lunch prices were very reasonable for what you got. Service was fantastic. So glad we chose to have lunch here.
They treat you like an individual from start to finish… food was incredible from appetizers to the main course to dessert's drinks were incredible as well….

This place was so classy, clean, and the food was amazing to the 10th power!I was there celebrating my b-day and LOVE, LOVE the special touch of capturing my moments with a photo & card to hold it.This is the BEST place for date, family, friends, business, or heck just because it's the bomb.com!!I highly recommend this restaurant!!
