We were here on Easter Sunday. This place is seafood heaven! Shrimp, crawfish, catfish, octopus (shown in picture with chopsticks), stuffed crab, crab salad.... all delicious! Except I didn't like the ? octopus. ? Haha. But don't know til you try right? They also have sushi, a hibachi grill bar, and even an ice cream cart where the attendant will come serve you unlimited scoops of ice cream! ? Yayyy. How great is that?! They also have chicken galore. Fried chicken, buffalo wings, sweet n sour, orange and and so on. The vegetables taste like they are fresh out of someone's garden and cooked perfectly. The food is seasoned very well so I didn't have to add salt or sauces to anything. However I had to have some soy sauce and pickled ginger with my sushi. There's no other way to eat it. There is at least 10 different flavors of Sushi. It's being made right at the bar and is some of the best Sushi you can buy. For me, this buffet was the perfect place to sample different flavors of Sushi and I discovered quite a few that I like. Like SEAWEED, who knew? Lol...I have been here several times and tasted EVERYTHING on the bar and EVERYTHING is really good . BUT, I have not tried the frog legs so don't hold me to those.. As a child, my grandmother tricked me to eat those once, which tasted similar to chicken, and I have never eaten them again. The deserts are semi-sweet so I haven't found a cake or cookie I can suggest because I like treats to be sweet! Lol...This place is usually busy and totally worth it. We had two buffets with tea and the bill was $33. I highly recommend this restaurant. ????Two thumbs up!
Visited on a Monday afternoon. You would think when the place is packed everything would be hot. Unfortunately that was not the case. A lot of the dishes were cold even though it was piled high with food. This was my first time here and after realizing that everything was cold or over cooked I asked if they were able to heat up a couple of the plates. Unfortunately the language barrier was too much and I was not able to communicate with the employees. I noticed they brought out a fresh plate of coconut shrimp so I took some. About 5 to 10 minutes later I went back up for seconds just to find out that the coconut shrimp was already cold. With traditional Chinese buffets they use the metal trays and hot water to keep food warm. This Buffet does not do that so I think that a lot of the dishes were cold because they were exposed to so much air and breezes from people walking by. The hibachi was was hot atleast although also over cooked and dry and the sushi selections were never refilled.
It was okay I went around 11am after my Dr. Appt next door? Since I lost weight ?? but gain it back real quick lol. I tried a little bit of everything except mini pizza I wanted to but was too full. I love my cold shrimp w/cocktail sauce and for some weird reason they were sticky and had something white so I asked the waitress if she can get me some fresh ones and she did but they were almost the same. If they can bring better fresh shrimps I'll change my rating?.In total I paid was almost $18 that's including the drink.Drinks I believe it's $2.50.Place was super clean!! Waitress was friendly!Lots of space!! Luckily it wasn't full around that time. ***4/4/22***
The food was amazing. I went with my best friends family of 6 and we got seated very quick. Our waiter check on us every about 10 minutes. Loved the pork buns, my favorite. We ate so many plates of food i was stuffed. My besties family loved the food. I really recommend coming here. Especially with family. We had such a good time and with amazing food.
If you love buffets, you're gonna like this place. It has an interesting mix of items that you normally don't see at other american chinese buffets such as a menudo soup, bao, taro buns, fried rice AND hibachi fried rice. Two different type of noodle dishes also which I appreciate since I'm very much team mei fun over generic lo mein. Mom liked the fried frog legs. The pork ribs looked decent and tasted better than I expected. The dessert section is tiny but I like that they have a person to hand out ice cream over letting kids get their dirty lil hands on the scoops like other places do ?
They had me at frogs legs and oysters!!! And I cant stress enough how fresh the oysters were. Clean, friendly, and probably the best quality buffet food I've had in Texas. I was also impressed with their large variety of ice cream. They scoop it in front of you. Suprising change from the usual soft serve. They even had tamales to accommodate finicky palates. The only negative thing, was that it was so good, that I walked out miserably stuffed with at least a 5 pound weight gain.
As an out-of-town guest, I was completely impressed and blown away by the huge buffet selection. The food quality was excellent. I must admit the business name piqued my curiosity. I'm glad I ventured inside. Service was not as good as the food. I will definitely return the next time I'm in town
They have gloves for you to get food. It's busy like covid never happened. The food is still good. I can't complain. This is probably the best china buffet in DFW.
Visited Uno1 Super Buffet in Irving, TX for the first time post covid and I must say the consistency continues. This place offers great value and quality to be such a large Chinese buffet style restaurant. The food is usually fresh and hot with enough flavors. The staff is very swift and attentive, even with the place being very busy. The buffet offers many different dishes that anybody can find to meets there taste pallette. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody that wants consistent quality Chinese buffet style food at good prices and service to match.
Wow. Blown away at the quality and variety provided by Uno1 Super Buffet. All for a great budget too. Visited late on a Saturday and the preperation provided for Covid was excellent. Providing a safe and convenient location that I am sure to return to. Excellent wait staff as well who ensured my drink was never empty and an empty plate was always swiftly removed. Thank you for the great experience Uno1 Super Buffet!
