Great food and friendly service
Tikka Taco is a great place to get indian fusion and also indian dishes. The staff was very friendly and the establishment was very clean. The owner is also very nice and made some great menu recommendations. We had the goat curry, lamb briyani, chicken wings, naan, kabobs, and samosas. Everything was soo flavorful and the food came out hot and fresh I cant wait to go back!!!!
A great take on street tacos! I went for my first time and the staff was very helpful about how/what to order. I did a mix and match Naan Taco set and it was great. The Chicken Tikka sauce was creamy and delicious while the Lamb was ground up and very flavorful. Although I did expect a different taste from the lamb it did feel more like beef, but still delicious. The "tacos" come with the base meat (or vegetarian option) and sauce and are topped with diced tomatoes and crispy shredded lettuce with a bit of spice on top to give it some additional flavor. It was so good I went back for seconds and subbed in a Paneer Bhurji (think that's the right spelling) for the Lamb which was a cottage cheese vegetarian option but still extra sweet and savory. If we're comparing to street tacos, it's a bit pricier for similar portions but I feel it was money well spent and definitely satisfied my appetite. Restaurant was clean and had some great Indian tunes playing. For sure an instant favorite lunch spot. Two $9 sets cost around 20 bucks after tip.
Really friendly host, who helped give recommendations and the recommendations were great. Had the Naan tacos with chicken Tikka and lamb with spicy sauce added. It was a fantastic fusion that I enjoyed. Might swing by again before I leave Dallas! Definitely will try the entrees next time.
Maaaaaaan!!! Tikka Taco was everything the owner, Mike, promised it would be. Delicious food and excellent service. Thanks for the hospitality Mike. I will be back!!
Really good tacos! Came here for a late lunch. We had a 6 person group and everyone was very attentive to us. They waited for all of us to get there and then explained the entire menu to us. Someone came by and made sure all our waters were full the entire time we were there. We all ended up getting the tacos because they looked so good! We asked for very spicy but it wasn’t spicy at all. The man laughed and said next time ask for “Indian spicy”! Will definitely go back and get that again!

I almost skipped over this place after some of the recent reviews but I’m so glad I didn’t. I was in town for a week on a work trip and Tikka Taco might have been my favorite spot where we ate. It’s essentially Tex-Indian and it is delicious. I never knew how much I needed to try chicken Tikka in a naan taco. I ordered the wrap and it was amazing as well. It’ll be a little messy as you eat it, but it’s so so worth it.The staff there were amazing as well! The guy at the counter helped us navigate the menu and threw out some recommendations. I wish we had a spot like this in Denver.
This place closes at 10:30pm but website says 11.We went there @9:50 thinking it is open till 11. Food was good and met our expectations. They even made exceptions in taking dessert orders after 10 pm which is again appreciated. However, giving a low rating cause the experience was bad as a customer. They started lifting the bowls from the table @10:35pm without even giving a heads-up and when we said we were still eating, the guy rudely told us we needed to leave the place as they were closing. Please update your website if you close at dot 10:30. This is NOT acceptable.
Tikka Taco is for anyone who would love fusion food concept. With the concept of Mexican food with Indian touch and fusion connects you to both the cultures.I really loved the Paneer Tikka, Achari Aloo Tacos here and also the sizzlers were great. I would try it again, when I visit soon
