I ordered Nehari, Chicken Karahi, Biryani and sweet lassi. The service was fast, the price were reasonable, portion size was appropriate and taste was overall good.Among all the dishes, Nehari was very nice. The meat was large boneless chunk, well cooked and tender complimented with thick, hot and spicy gravy.Chicken Karahi also tasted good , the chicken pieces were not boneless but were juicy and not overcooked. It was mild and not too oily.Biryani was let off and disjoint mix of rice and chicken. The quality of rice used was not good (short grain) and the dish lack lacks taste.I didn't tried any BBQ as I was informed that it will take 20+ minutes.Overall it is a nice joint for quick family dinner if you are around this location.Service ****Taste ****Portion Size ****Ambience & Cleanliness ***Price *****
Had Babu opened a place like this, he would still be in business and in NYC. Flavorful food, be careful it’s all spicy. Great prices. Superb value. I recommend the chicken briyani, lamb and goat kebab. The other day I had goat haleem and it was Superb. They bring water and salad and a yogurt sauce to your table upon arrival.
I ordered a large tray of biryani from this restaurant and it was expected to feed 10-15 people. I was so disappointed when I came home to see they had only put about one spoon of raita with the biryani. I figured if the tray is a large portion to feed so many people they will also give a proper amount of raita. I’m so disappointed.
Wish I could give zero stars. Food is so bad (low quality) gave me the worse headache that I think is what a migraine feels like. Might be tons of undetectable to you tongue flavor sodium or tons of MSG. So any, these ingredients make you think you are eating something good to the brain. Maybe indigenous folks to this region are immune to these effects. As a USA born and raised that likes to eat healthy with low sodium intake and health conscious foods, this was a horrible experience.
Delicious food, affordable prices. Chicken Karahi and Fry Daal are very tasty. The naans are fresh & served hot and crispy. Must try food if near DFW airport or Irving area.
Food Poisoning. This place needs to get shut down by the city. My son only eats butter chicken and we ordered that & couple other items. After dinner we all had bathroom runs and my son was miserable the whole night saying his stomach hurt, finally he stood up and threw up butter chicken all over the floor. Poor guy. Will not order here again ?
I visit Dallas about once a month and always stop by this place.Food is good. Priced appropriately. Customer Service is Trash. Till I find another place with decent food, I’ll settle for this place.
Visiting Texas for the first time and my friends invited me at this place. On their recommendation we ordered goat karahi, chicken biryani, chicken tikka, chicken punjabi tikka , chicken seekh kabab with naan, kulcha and garlic naan.Taste wise all the dishes were good but if I compare with restaurants in California Bay Area then in my opinion the food here in California is better. For sweet we got loki halwa and that was 5 star quality and taste...unfortunately I don't eat sweet in large quantity so I only tried few bite but if you are a sweet tooth then must try that. Tea was served nicely with proper cup and saucers instead of paper cups or mugs, that was nice. They help pack the left over items too, which is also kind of unusual for desi restaurants.Cleanliness and ambiance was similar to what you expect from most Pakistani restaurants in USA :)Unbelievable price for chicken biryani...only $3 . Other menu items were normal prices like (goat kaRahi $12, punjabi chicken tikka 3 pieces $6, chicken seekh kabab $3, garlic nan $2)
Unfortunately very bland food. Ordered keema, chicken tikka and karahi chicken. None of it was good. Wasn't horrible but had almost no taste. Naan was fine.
We come regularly here but this is last time. They are always very slow. It takes 2 minutes to order and another one one hour you should wait for your service. They give very small amount salat and water. Always you need to ask for it you have to wait. They must improve their service and facilities.
