So I've loved taj chaat house for yrs now. Hadn't really been there since covid-19 but had chance to visit there today and food didn't even come close to the basic s standard of Indian food. I ordered samosa chaat and chole bhatura. Samosa chaat was owkayyy. Very basic and has some runny Chana sauce on a samosa with yogurt and red-green chutney with crunchy bhujiya on top. Very very basic taste. Presentation of the chaat was off putting. Runny Chana was soo blend that I regretted ordering chole bhatura thinking that it will probably be the sma e chana gravy used for chole and I was right!!!!! It was the same runny Chana they used to top my samasa chaat with which is not okay because chole is suppose to be actual chole- has a thick and dark gravy- served with onions, pickles and topped with a cilantro and a side of green chillie or at least some small side to go with it. Okay so the chole was not chole it was just Chana boiled with other spices- totally blend & lacked even salt!!!!!! I could not believe how their standard has gone down.... not even proper garnishing on the food is just a sign of poor management and lack of supervision to execute your cultural food. Bhatura was good!! I asked to replaced my chole with something else ...they gave me alloo masala( tasted like potato stuffing for dosa) which also lacked salt big time. I mean come on people!!! Customers can cook better at home than what you guys are serving at chaat chaat house. The only reason I am giving 2 star is because of the genuine customer service of the lady at the counter- she happily replaced my chole for potato masala & and didn't give me hard time. Y'all really need to sept up your game to stay in the business. Please understand that I loved this places and parents loved it when I bought them to this location before covid as well... but I'd not wanna come back if taste does not improve.

Worst kachori ever. It was completely dry. Looks like a year old kachori. Worst food. I tried this place first time and I will never recommend this place to anyone.

This place used to be my go-to location for Panipuri and Chaat. Thought of trying them again after a couple of years and man was I terribly disappointed. Starting from awkward smell at the counter, dry and tasteless Panipuri, Rock like hard Khasta Kachori ( Had to replace with Aloo Tikki Chaat which was even worse). Had to trash it to avoid stomach pain later. Did the management change here ?

This is the worst restaurant i have ever been in my entire life. All they have is menu prepared months before and store it in freezer. Recently I visited this place and ordered different menus. All of them were rotten. I had a big discussion with them on not to serve such food going forward and received my money. Your health definitely spoiled or even see side effects immediately after food here. I strongly recommend to make a complaint in food and safety department in Dallas if you face such a incident.

Food Service was fast. Masala Dosa ordered was great but the sambhar wasn't very good. Ordered vada pav which wasn't as good as expected, pani puri was ok for the price. Overall, felt it could improve a bit.

The masala tea is good . We ordered different chats and unfortunately all chats are soaked in curd . The chats are too much soggy and absorbed in curd . I won’t go for chat options after today here . Even the bhelpuri was too wet and watery . May be I will try Dosa idli next time.

Ordered panipuri and samosaPanipuri is the worst , samosa is too goodNot recommended for South Indian people

Tried Papdi Chat and Kachori Chat - Taste almost like India and one of the best chats in Dallas Area

The food has very little to zero flavor. The puri for the Pain puri was so hard and the pain tasted incredibly bland.Sambar lacked any substanceKheer is pure sugar.Staff is rude.Very disappointed.

Always great going back to our old neighborhood and eating our favorite foods! Dahi Puris, Hakka Noodles, Piaz Dosa with Sambar, Uttapam, garjar halwa, and rainbow assorted rasgulla (we ate the noodles and Uttapam prior to taking a photo ?). We drove from Fort Worth and it was so worth it. The staff is always nice and helpful. Missed seeing the happy Auntie Ji making food this day but we will come again.
