The flautas and tacos are so good. The staff is always very friendly and kind.
Lady at the front desk is often in a bad mood and she will let you know by throwing around chairs loudly, being rude, and staying quiet after you say thank you. You can tell she doesn’t want to be there and that she didn’t grow the place. Otherwise she’d know how valuable each customer is. Plenty of great places to eat around here. Tacos are no worth her bad attitude.
Visited for lunch, the music was so loud the employee could not hear my order. So, I asked her to turn down the music. If looks could kill, I would not be writing this review. She barely turned down music. It is a small place with wobbly tables, does not need music that loud. The food was decent. Street tacos were good. Beans and rice were very bland. Guacamole was fresh and very good. Salsa was good too.
I was glad to find this little place in Las Colinas. Counter service Tex-Mex with the usual dishes, but they add their own authentic touches such as the queso fresco and crema. They also offer 2 different house salsas they bring to your table. No margaritas or beer, but good selection of Jarritos and Mexican sodas. The cooks are really friendly and upbeat! Great experience!
It’s a pretty small restaurant but the food was amazing. We really enjoyed our enchiladas and tacos. The woman at the register was friendly and gave good suggestions as well.Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because we ordered guacamole and it was pretty bad. I’m not really sure what it was but I think they may have just used an unripe avocado and didn’t mix it enough?
The food is decent for the area but nothing special. The reason for the one star is due to the customer service or lack thereof. We have ordered to go from them probably around 10 times in the last year and every single time they are just soooooo rude. They talk to you like they are doing you a favor and then argue with you when you get to the store. If their food was top notch honestly we would just deal with their rudeness but the potatoes aren't even seasoned, the beans are bland so not really worth it. I would rather give our money to people who appreciate the business.
We were looking for light meal and fast food (preferable Mexican food) near our hotel in the Las Colinas area of Irvine, TX. The line of cars at the nearby fast food place was so long we decided to go here. We weren't disappointed. Although this was most surely cheap eats, the food was good. This nine table (so small that one of the tables had a single chair) is the place for a cheap, decent meal. I had the tamales with the obligatory rice and beans. Nothing to rave about, but good none the less.
Breakfast burritos aren't that big, food came out hot and the red sauce is good but definitely missing something flavor wise. Beans were good but could have been simmered low and slow for a longer period.Potatoes in my burrito weren't fully cooked.I drove from Venus Texas to a job site so decided to stop but definitely wouldn't make the drive just for the food. HOWEVER, IN THESE TIMES....DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY IF YOU ARE IN THE AREA. HOMEMADE ALWAYS BEATS FAST FOOD.
Wonderful price for delicious authentic mexican breakfast tacos. The best I have discovered so far in when visiting my son in Irving.
This little place is bussin bussin!! Everyone was nice and the food was amazing!! I ordered the huevos rancheros and it was SO delicious! I would have shared a pic but I've already devoured majority of the dish. Lol!! I went to order some more flour tortillas because they are SO good and the nice lady didn't even charge me!! Come and show your support and try the huevos rancheros.
