It’s really sad that Taco Cabana used to be a better quality quick service taco joint in DFW. It’s all been downhill. No wonder they’re closing so many locations. The “fajita” meat for the tacos reminded me of the microwave ready made meat at Walmart. No onion, cilantro, peppers, etc. The salsa bar is still closed. The corn tortillas were microwaved as well and stiff. Fully regret swinging by for lunch. The checkout lady was very kind and sweet. Attentive. I hope she ends up somewhere better than this when they close down.
I was staying at one of the nearby hotels and walked over, looking for a quick dinner. I was so positively surprised by the quality of the food - and the margaritas! The staff was terrific and helpful, the tacos were fat and juicy, the queso was sublime, and the salsas were a delicious variety. A really good meal for a really good price!
I came to order a dozen breakfast tacos as usual, but today they said I couldn’t order a dozen! I asked why not? They said, we have about 20 dozen ahead of you. So I asked what can I order for breakfast? They say, well you can order tacos. So, they sell me 6 tacos for the price of a dozen!? I guess I just don’t understand why they can sell me 6, but not 12 at the correct price? This is just what you get when dealing with fast food places that ALWAYS have sub par employees. Disappointing.
Very disgusting bacon and egg taco. NOT fresh!! the eggs are very dry and old. I don’t know how they could serve this taco with other pieces of ingredients I did not ask for. I wouldn’t even serve this to my dog this is pathetic.
Ordered one of the "new" bowls that was advertised all over the windows at one price but rang up substantially higher. Had to park to wait for my food and the night manager was the one to bring it out. I asked why the difference, he rudely told me it wasn't his problem it was a "I.T." problem. Asked for his name and he refused to give it to me. Younger man with glassed, tall and slender build.
First off! My tacos were cold! The cashier who was touching the register was making tacos as well (bare hands). Plus they were out of margaritas and sauces.
Came on lunch break Friday afternoon !! SUPER SLOWWWW WAS IN DRIVE THRU LIne nearly 15 mins Not to mention girlOn headset had whole conversations while taking my order. I definitely don’t need to hear about employees needing a rest room break while I’m trying to order . If they can speed it up here. Everything else can be looked over sheesh lol
If you value your time don't go to this horrible location. You will sit in the drive through for over an hour even if there's 1 car ahead of you.The lobby is always closed for some reason.
I was gonna get the family meal when I was met with a groaning worker. I looked on the webdite to see what i wanted and he said he didn't have the family meal which was on the website. After that I just backedout the drive through. Overall my experence was pretty bad and the worker sounds extremely depressed and distracted.
Lobby is closed...again! Curbside orders must be picked up in the drive-thru. I offered to walk up to the door to get my order, but employee was just silent. Might be a great idea to take down the curbside signage and also update the app to show only drive through orders are accepted.
