I am an Ambassador level Marriott member, so I have been to many hotels all over the world. I am also old enough to remember when Sheraton was a prestigious name among hotels. This Sheraton does not fare well in comparison to other hotels: there are issues with both the service and the physical condition of the hotel, some of the staff are not helpful, and, for some reason, the hotel does not have a business center even though it is clearly a convention center hotel (while we were there there was a large convention from a Christian church). The locals told us that the temperature had been over 100 degrees everyday for over a month, yet this hotel did not have the air conditioning working properly in either the hallways or the elevators. Imagine being crammed into an elevator with all of those convention goers and there is no a-c! When we asked the staff, we were told that they were aware of the problem and were working on it. As an Ambassador level member, we were given access to the Club Lounge on the top floor. Unfortunately, no food was served in that lounge and, to my amazement, it was not air conditioned either. The only thing available was bottled water and soda in the refrigerator. There are not ice machines on every floor. When you leave the elevator, there is a sign saying that the machines are located on the 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th floors. As we were staying on the 10th floor, we went down to the 9th floor only to discover, surprise!, no ice machine. We ended up going down to the 7th floor. When we asked the staff about the error, they did not have an explanation. When I asked the front reception about the location of the business center, she, without hesitation, replied "What do you want to print?" As I did not want to print anything, she seemed confused. Eventually I was able to elicit from her that they do not have a business center at all, which seemed to me to be a bit odd for a big hotel/convention center. There were other service issues, with staff either being impolite or not being knowledgeable. The building is a bit rundown. We saw cracks in the paint in several locations. We had 2 rooms on the top (10th) floor. The rooms were average-sized and everything pretty much worked, including the air conditioning. One plus was that you can watch planes take off and land through your window, without hearing them. The walls are well sound-proofed. The complimentary breakfast had a large selection of hot and cold foods, including fresh fruit. We were able to sit and eat for a long time. Given all of the above concerns, the overall redeeming aspect of our stay was the price of the hotel. It is relatively low-priced, particularly for an airport hotel in a major city. I guess the upshot is: "You get what you pay for."

Shuttle service took forever picking me up, and dropped me off last even though I had waited 43 mins to get picked up. Terrible customer service!

Great location for a layover in DFW or business in Irving. Hotel is a little older in the typical brownish colored style, but up to date and clean. The Marriott Member lounge was open and well equipped. A big Kudos to the staff, all of them were extremely friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed their support and service. It was a bit pricey though compared to the other hotels around.

As a Marriott Platinum I try to choose hotels with a Club lounge. I always enjoy the evening snacks/drinks. For some reason the Sheraton DFW does nothing in the evening except put out granola bars and water. There's also sodas in a fridge. The Club level room is nice, the restaurant food- baby back ribs fantastic. Overall it was a nice stay but come on Marriott, the lounge is suppose to have a little wine/snacks in the evening (even house wine). As I came out of the lounge there was a guy at the elevator who said, "You must have special powers. My lounge card won't let me in." I told him to just check with the (not mean but def not friendly) front desk.

Bad experience - Waited 45min at the airport for pickup - Given a used room. Waited room to be changed, Key was not opening Club access. All messy. - Club is horrible and stinks. No food on Saturday-Sunday. Coffee Machine is not working.

Don't forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your resort. This web site will compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have prices much cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This hotel is one of my favorites in the area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely will love it I'm sure! The young man checking us in was so helpful and funny. The bartender that evening, I wish I knew their names, was very nice. The hotel was just what we wanted! It was very clean. That will definitely be my go-to hotel when I am in Irving Dallas.

This hotel is an "old girl" that has been refurbished, but not that recently. It is old, tired and has issues. Mainly for me, the AC was not working and the room smelled of mildew/mold. The staff is great and quickly moved me to a room across the hall which was very convenient. While the AC is a situation that can happen at any time, that smell should have been corrected. It's very noticeable. My new room was much better.

Great location, close to the airport. Fine if you're only staying a night or two. No refrigerator or microwave in the room for longer visits, though a fridge is available upon request. Room was updated but had obviously been remodeled based on the old/dated bathroom tile and loose electrical outlets. Getting shuttle service is a joke if you're on a schedule.

If I could give 10 stars i would! Albeit short, I very much enjoyed my stay at the Sheraton. This was my first time visiting a Sheraton as a Bonvoy member, and they were very helpful and accommodating. I arrived before check-in time (by hours) and they still gave me a room. The bellhops assisted me with my bags, and when I got to my floor, Sandra, a housekeeper saw me struggling and too helped me with my bags. (Shout out to Sandra!) My room was nice and clean, and when I didn’t have a fridge they promptly brought one for me and set it up. The TV was on and had a tailored greeting message for me, which I thought was neat. Also, I needed multiple things printed and the woman out front (unfortunately I didn’t get her name) with the dark red hair with bantu knots was very helpful in everything I asked for. They honestly went above and beyond and helped me get and do what was necessary because I fell short on some preparations. The bartender, I didn’t get his name (an older male) was very funny as I was waiting for my food. Every employee I came across was just amazing. It’s conveniently located by DFW and they also offer air shuttle service round the clock. I will definitely be staying here next time I fly out.

This property is a good place to stay near the DFW airport. Service at reception was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was generous and tasty. Even though it seems like it was remodeled fairly recently, it could benefit from additional repairs in the rooms - namely curtains, room locks and furniture. I would stay here again but believe that the property could benefit from some needed repairs to improve the stay experience.
