When you walk in you will instantly notice that most of the customers are from India. I tend to take this as a good sign. I absolutely love the dosa masala here but this time around I decided to try their South Indian Thali. Everything was very tasty and thank god the spice level was decent. I hate going to Indian restaurants that over do it in the spice level. Portions are quite generous and the staff is very nice, all though it’s primarily counter service. I’ve been coming here for a while now and don’t understand for the life of me how this place even has 3.5 stars. Maybe my standards are too low because I’ve never been to India and don’t know how the dosa is there. But for me this place is wonderful and seems pretty authentic. They say the coffee here is pretty good too. This is a must try!!!
One of the best places for South Indian food. Great thing about it is, it is a big chain across world and there food quality is consistent. Food is always fresh. Must recommend to have their rava dosa, thaali and filter coffee
Good place for all South Indian cuisine. This is a global chain, so they have a good system down. Food tastes good and fresh. Surprisingly, good customer service and fast. Their Dosas are delicious and flavorful. Be sure to mention your preferred spice level when you order. It's definitely a bit too pricey for what it should be.
I am pleased to write the review as asked by the Manager , Mr Anoop! We were there yesterday for dinner.I would be honest , I was very hesitant to go to this place based upon my experiences in the past . It has been 3 years since and decided to try again. I was hoping I would not have to deal with poor services and cold food in the past!This time we were seated right away! Ambience is not the best but acceptable , but what I influenced me the most was greeted very warmly by staff! They were always available when asked for!Service has improved to almost near perfectionThe preparation was always a notch above and food was served warm!Would definitely visit againFull marks to new manager/ management
I always love saravana bhavan! They have the one of the best breakfast servings. We ordered thali and different breakfast combos.Thali is not upto the mark but breakfast is very good as usual! People who serve are very polite and patient here.
Food is very good but less staff to cook & serve. Wait times are unacceptable running to an hour to be even seated. Another 45 mins of wait for the food,, after seated. Dec 27th 2021(today) there were only 2 cooks and wait was easily 1.5hrs to be seated!!. Give us a break, saravana B!!
Poor paneer biryani, it was like it is cooked for small kids whose teeth is in growing stage!Very sticky and lots of kewra water taste.Chole batura was v good!
Try whatever you feel like. Everything is good. Proper south indian food. Everything taste so good with ghee.

Poor service. Took forever to get food on table. My order delivered on next table, server realized and picked it up and placed my table. In this COVID time this is unacceptable. 2nd veg uttapam hardly any veggie. Would not recommend
