The food was delicious! We ordered to go on a Saturday night. They were busy, short on staff (so the sign said), and still I got my order within 20 minutes. I appreciate the staff going out of their way to work in different areas to take care of customers. She was also good at suggestive selling, knew the menu and how to add special items.The manager came over to the to go area to make sure I was helped as well. I visited this location probably about a month ago. They have several new menu items. If you haven't been in a while I'd go. Really good food.
The service was HORRIBLE! We had to wait to be seated. I went to the bathroom while waiting and it was disgusting. I should have known to leave then. They tried to seat us at a booth that wasn’t even clean. Dirty seats and dirty underneath. We had to constantly ask the server for things. We didn’t get a refill until after our food was gone. The cleanliness of the restaurant is nonexistent. Right when we got when our food, we saw a BIG roach crawl by our booth. We told the server about it but he acted like it was normal. He killed it and checked us out. On our way out, we saw ANOTHER roach. At that point, I wanted to throw up.
Let me just say the Salsa Roja is very spicy full of flavor and you can taste the cilantro and jalapeños. The food is good and very hot. The service is okay for the most part. I was very full and so was the other person. We have eaten everything including the appetizers. I do not drink but when our table ordered the Watermelon Margarita the aroma just hit you.
I ordered this good online for delivery. I have been to other On The Border restaurants in person but not this one. The food was not made correctly or at least to the description on their website. I found that the pricing was expensive for the portions of food we received. The portions were also significantly smaller than what you would normally receive in the restaurant yet the price was just as expensive. The food itself was all overly spicy and salty. The chicken enchilada was so salty it was inedible. The salsa was really spicy. I love spicy food and I love on the border salsa. But this salsa tasted like it had been sitting around for a few days: both in the freshness and how spicy it was. We won't be ordering from this restaurant again.
Been coming here for years and the food was the the only saving grace on this visit, and even it was wrong! First I waited at the front for over 15 minutes just to be acknowledged let alone seated. Looking around I saw that half the tables in the restaurant were loaded with dirty dishes. Trash and food all over the floors. I counted 8 employees running around all over in the back, bar area and tables but not hostess anywhere. I finally called the restaurant and was hung up on when I stated I was waiting to be seated.Ordered a Corona Extra and was told they didnt carry those, advised Ryan(server) its on the menu and I would like limes with it. Water, primo queso, combo steak & chicken fajitas with cilantro lime rice and refried beans. Ryan comes, and what do you know, they do have Corona Extra. What they apparently dont have though is Limes! Okay let it go, but then Primo Queso comes out. Now for those that dont know, Primo Queso has sour cream, guacamole, and seasoned ground beef in it. Nice little picture of it in the menu. Mine apparently doesnt get guacamole though because you guessed it, they dont have any. Then my fajitas came out, sad dried up looking meat with burnt onion shreds that I guarantee didnt equal a 1/4 of a small onion. No refried beans either, just black beans. Now I understand if you have staff shortages and supply issues, but you tell people BEFORE THEY ORDER! As to staffing, I got better service from this place under the previous manager in a winter ice storm when they had 3 employees working and the only place open to get food in a 10 mile radius.

Dirty place. Trash on floor everywhere. Service pretty slow and food luck warm. Very few guests in building.

Unfortunately had a change. Since last going service has gone down which is understandable with lack of individuals willing to work. Unsweet tea was soured and had no ice in it. Server was nice but seemed lost. Did not receive our appetizer. Did not receive silverware. Asked for manager but was apparently busy and never showed. Finally left without eating.
4-1-22 In the restaurant 2 1/2 hrs. Waiting on our food. Empty tables everywhere but people waiting to be seated. WILL NOT BE BACK!!
