Such a great experience!!! Server was a tall gentleman with gorgeous eyes can’t remember his name. He was so attentive, respectful and knowledgeable of the menu. I love going to a restaurant and not having to ask my server for a refill, he came at all the perfect times. Attentive but not hovering around us. Pleasant atmosphere. Manager was kind as well, I would definitely be back. Thank you service industry workers for what you do me and my friend enjoyed this outing.
You know it's bad when you are eating at a place and regret not eating at the halal place next door that's why I drop one star and the other was when I had to ask for a side of green sause add salt and pepper and a full lime to make what has officially the driest most tasteless fajita pretending to be Mama's chicken with Hongos as for the Cocina platter only the queso dip and the chicken quesadillas plus the guacamole and sour cream were good, the flautas and can tell what the nacho looking things were are a complete no no, the place is nice the items from the bar looked good just had hoped they put as much detail into the food as they do the drinks overal hated to have to prepare my meal to make it have some flavor but should had seen the red flags when I saw they devoted a whole 1/3 of the menu to Tex Mex dishes , the staff was fast and polite but the food really made this a bad experience so sorry Mi Cosina but if you see my other reviews I don't give 3 stars unless I'm completely disappointed and even the free chips and salsa will not make me return. P.S I really hated how they were really pushy after I finished eating and paid my bill for me to leave in a hurry should drop another star for that.
My husband ordered chicken enchiladas for him, but he ordered beef fajitas for me. He paid $22.95 for a few slices of beef, some potatoes, bell peppers on a bed of onions. We were ripped off paying over $40.00 total for dinner. This place really deserves zero stars. I was generous giving this place 1 star and that is because my husband did not have anything against his chicken enchiladas. Get your fajitas elsewhere as they are too expensive here. First time ordering here and it will also be our last.
Got here just before the lunch rush and was served promptly when we arrived. The staff was very professional and prompt. The food was great and we both enjoyed what we ordered. Mi Cocina filled up quickly for lunch but we were in and out in 45 minutes which is a great time frame to get a quick business lunch. I would recommend Mi Cocina to others in the Grapevine area as a tasty Mexican lunch option.
Love this spot! Always great food and service. Manager- Karla at this location, shes the best!! You see her with employees and guests. When the weather is nice enjoy sitting on the patio w/friends. So many delicious items on the menu. Sunset style fajitas and quesadillas are my fav!! Oh can't forget the margaritas either handmade by Ivy & Fernando at the bar!!Yum. And cant forget Anita long time hostess to greet and seat you with a smile!!
This is absolutely the best restaurant in town. It is great for families or couples dining. What tops it off for us next to the fabulous food is a terrific server that we happened to get the first time we came in- Valentin. He is always on point with everything by the time you need it, drink refills, food always comes out hot. We always request him whenever we come in now, even if we have to wait. We were a bit dissappointed to come in Saturday to find that he had been put as a host. His skills are must better suited to serving customers at tables. Mi Cocina is a fantastic place with exceptional food especially for the price & great servers. If you want the best though, ask for Valentin.
first time there, really enjoyed the food and drinks
Large, popular restaurant with good food and good service. I had the fish tacos, and they were excellent. The server also brought the wrong drinks, but quickly corrected them and worked quickly throughout the evening. We had a group of 7, and I think this was a great place for groups (if even bigger, call ahead to make sure there's room). I also think it's an easy stop for friends and families. It's noisy, but just enough so that people won't care if your kids are loud.
The only restaurant open within a 10-15 mile radius in Irving during the winter storm that blew into town yesterday.Me & my bud each had their lunch special fajitas, which costed just under $15, & had a mixture of beef & chicken. The food tasted great & the service here was very attentive!Thank you for being open during this nasty winter storm!
The price was too high for what we got There was 3 of us for diner, I spent$ 105.00. The best thing was the appetizer sampler. I ordered a 50/50 combo fajita plate to go . I got home opened the container there were 4 huge potato wedges, 3 big green pepper wedges alot of onions with 4 flat short skinny SLICES of Beef and 2 jumbo shrimp and this plate was 22 Dollars !! Never again , I would have taken it back and asked for a manager if I wasn't 45 minutes away, Ridiculous!!!!
