The customer service at this location is decent. However, the restaurant is filthy! I wish I had taken photos. As I looked to find a booth to eat my meal today, I noticed that every booth has food in the cracks. So disgusting! It’s not new dirt/build up; this is the case during my last few visits. I’m new to this area, but not to McAlister’s. This is the first time I’ve ever been to a location that was this dirty. Underneath the parchment paper on my salad tray, there was a few pieces of Spring Mix/purple lettuce, while I had a Caesar salad (romaine lettuce). This leads me to believe I was given a dirty tray or food is not being appropriately handled in back. Cleanliness and appropriate food handling, especially in today’s environment is extremely important to me and it guides me in my decision as it relates to selecting a place to eat. If counter tops, ledges of booths, window ledges, tables, floors, truly basic details are being missed, I believe this speaks to the food safety and handling mishaps that are occurring in back and also speaks to the validity of many of the other recent reviews I am reading. It’ll definitely be a minute before I visit this location again, if ever.
I'm not sure why, but even the restaurants in Oklahoma are lacking basic cleaning skills. This one need the stalls and walls and sinks and everything scrubbed down.The old one in Owasso, OK, used to be this way. They have a new location now. This one in Irving is not clean either. A restaurant should have spotless bathrooms.
I really like going to McAlister the salads and baked potatoes are awesome. I really like going to the location in Addison Texas but I was on my way to work so I decided to stop at McAlisters in Irving on Regent Blvd such a bad idea.I previously stopped there a week ago and purchased a salad and it was not that great and those hideous beige Styrofoam containers just makes it even worse. So today I decided to stop by McAlisters again just to give them another chance but I should have just kept on driving or went to McDonalds. The salad appeared to old/not fresh at all, there wasn't much chicken in the salad (guess you have to cut the cost somewhere). I paid for Xtra cheese which I did not get and last but not least they are still using those hideous beige containers. Presentation is key and my salad lacked luster. The counter was crowded with about 5 people and it seemed as if the blind was leading the blind.Management please for heaven's sake do better. I'm so disappointed with this McAlisters location. Last but not least it is dimly lit, it has zero life to it. At this point just throw the entire deli in the trash can because that is exactly what is being served. Back to the Addison location I go. Last but definitely not least train your team on how to deliver great customer service because you are failing them. One more thing ask your employee to cut off or take off those extra long nails because that is a sanitary issue, so much bacteria underneath those long nails. Get it together
We grabbed lunch to go & appreciated the service. Our family ordered a salad, loaded baked potato, & a sandwich. The food was good but nothing special.

Excellent salads. I had several of the southwest chicken with avocado over my stay and they pack it in a way that you can serve out portions add dressing you want and put back in fridge. Each salad can give you 3-4 servingsThere's sandwiches, soups, cookies, nachos etc too. Great option if you're looking for healthier choice.
This place is horrible for delivery order. ( My company love this place for weekday on lunch hour. )Today is sunday I was hungry with my friend so I ordered food for delivery and tracked the food delivery statis by minute. Finally it shows as "Delivered' so I went out because it was delivered, but no matter how much I looked for it, the food was not found. So I called the restaurant but the employee who was talking to me, she was saying she just talked the driver and he dropped it on the my place! Her sounds was she's trust the driver not me. I was asking her back, then what can i do at this point?Even though I was hungry with my friend, I waited for delivery, and I am so angry that I am treated like a liar. This is the first time I have used this kind of service, and I will never order delivery from this restaurant again. Disappointed.
I love the food here especially the Savannah Chopped Salad. It is the best salad ever.. The staff is great as well. Excellent customer service as well.
Wanda is THE best at her job and customer service. The food is great, but you can’t beat great customer service. Wanda deserves a raise!
