Excellent service, the sushi was amazing and well done. One of the best places to eat authentic sushi, very well recommended.
Loved coming here. I ordered the Florida Roll and it was great. They even served the food very quickly. Bathrooms are clean, and the boba is good too. They have so many options for food besides sushi, and also a wide variety of sushi. This is going to be my go-to place for sushi now. 10 out of 10.
Their food is amazing! I’ve been here probably 10 times. I always get their spicy Korean seafood ramen. Some of the best I’ve had. You can tell their food is always fresh. This is a small establishment but to me it’s basically a hidden gem. I just moved out of the area. However, they’re worth the 25 minute drive. & My food was still hot when I arrived home.
Honestly man this place is just not a place you’re tryna be at just listen to me. Came here with my girl and we were just disappointed. Sushi was just so weird it’s hard to explain. Fish tasted a little old, the chicken terryaki had NO sauce I mean like none plus it tasted like fish, the avocado had brown spots, and sitting in there was the most depressing thing in my life. All I have to say is you completely serve yourself so no nice sit down and have a nice server or dinner. Just listen to me please I know you might be thinking you’re getting decent sushi for a great price but it’s so bad my girlfriend had food poisoning the next day. Please save your well-being and just pay the extra $20 on the total bill somewhere else to have a good night and a great dinner.
Food is great however don't plan on dining in during busy hours. You will get your food before a table opens up. Food is a 5/5They used to be pretty seamless in terms of dine in but lately it has gotten more popular but they have not expanded to accommodate the additional business. Venue experience is a 2/5
I had chief special which comes with a bowl of seafood soup and 6 peices of sushi - it was enough for one person. I also order spicy tuna roll. Sitting area is limited. Hope they will keep their freshness. After long found a good place.
Long wait time, almost given someone else's order, but our food was good when it was ready.
I love Maki boy! My favorite is the Cajun roll and California roll. There's so much more I want to try. I highly recommend this place!
I love the Eel Donburi here! A CoWorker/Friend invited me out one time for lunch here, and it has definitely became a favorite place of mine to eat.The only thing I have had is the Eel Donburi though, for the moment.When you walk in the staff is very welcoming. You place your order of what you want, and they bring out the order to you. The drinks and condiments are self serve though!
Maki Boy is without a doubt the best Japanese Restaurant in DFW. Their Sushi is amazing, they have so many to choose from. The Shrimp Fried Rice is always so tasty. The Broccoli that you can get for free with each entree tastes so good. There are other items from the salad bar to choose from too. After coming to Maki Boy for takeout orders twice a month for over 2 years, the food has always been great, the service has always been great, and the food orders have always been correct. Never once had a mistake with getting the wrong order. They have dine in too and have done that before. Will never stop going to Maki Boy!
