It was good, food was great. Service wasn't too good though
First time trying Salvadoran food and boy was I not disappointed! I got the house special (Especialidad de la Casa) and the skirt steak with Argentinian sausage (Carne Asada Con Churrazco) for a meal later.Takeaways: 1) The portions were HUGE. $15 and $12 each so a big bang for your buck. Each order could be 2 meals. 2) The flavor was excellent. It was a little salty personally, but I have never had Salvadoran food. It was also easily balanced by the generous helpings of rice/beans, guac/salsa, baked potato!?!, and pupusas. 3) Speaking of pupusas they were the cherry on top and a delicious complement. Other reviews said everything is made from scratch and I'm not surprised.I ordered through UberEats so I can't comment on the wait time or service. But my deliverer said I was the third order from La Perla that day so ? that speaks for itself. Definitely would come again and recommend it to others!
Out of all the places I’ve tried in south Irving the pan con pollo here is bomb!! I’d definitely recommend this place the pupusas are also delicious!
Close to work , I've tried small taco shop ! I couldn't believe how good the fajita meat was in the tacos here !!! A little slow but the results are very good !
If you’re going to dine in and know what you want, call like an hour before to place your order and so by the time you get there, your food should be ready and you don’t have to wait for long. They make your food from start that’s why it takes more then 30 minutes. Unless you have time to sit there and wait.
Deserves a better rating than the current one! The Yuca frita and Chicarron was good. Try their Horchata too, its not like your typical Mexican Horchata, it has a more natural different flavor to it. Of course there's the Pupusas as well, loved them!

Pupusas are delicious and everyone is so friendly ! Made us feel welcomed and at home . Will be returning for more . This is definitely my new pupusa place ☺️
