Stopped here for a late lunch after getting in town from the airport. What a great start to our vacation. The tacos were fresh and extremely tasty. The chipotle BBQ taco was our favorite but all were great. Would stop here again next time in town.
Today I enjoyed a nice lunch at Knockout Tacos. Yes, I read some of the reviews, and although they were almost perfect with a 4.5 ⭐ I wanted to try it and review it myself. Something that I always encourage everyone to do. As I came in, and not even two steps into this nice restaurant a very attentive lady said hi with a huge smile in her face. That is what a call a good start. She invited me to sit down and brought me a menu along with two questions "how are you doing today?" And "what would you like to drink today?" (All my conversation happened in Spanish). She gave me options, even international options such as Mexican Coke and American. I decide for the Mexican to bring back some of those early years of life in México. I asked for a couple of minutes to decide and then chose one of the specialties of the house, Kalua Pork Tacos. This taco comes with lite season pork, pineapple slaw, pickle red onions, cilantro lime cream all wrapped in a flour tortilla. What a taco. Every bite you could taste the freshness of the recently cooked meal. It was delicious with only one suggestion. Please find someone to make tortillas from scratch. The taco was good, but I can only imagine how amazing this could turn by wrapping that taste in a freshly made "tortilla de harina". Take my advice, you will be surprised. On the other hand restrooms were extremely clean. The restaurant was also in order. All chairs under the tables, floor swept, bar clean of any left behind drinks. The place is kept immaculate. To conclude:. Customer service was perfect, main dish was really good with the exception of the "tortilla de paquete" or want to be tortilla restaurant was nice, cozy and clean. The place deserve the number of stars it has. Don't believe me? Come and enjoy your tacos. Thank to the very nice waitress who took care of me. She is amazing. We ate here Yesterday, My Mom got food Poisioning, Been vomiting All Last nite and Today.We had 2 knockout tacos we thinknit was the hotdogs or the shrimp. The shrimp actually looked Raw.
Great service and great food
So I went the other day and tried out the Knockout Cheeseburger, a 10/10. Double meat, tasty fries and superb presentation. The atmosphere is pretty cool and you can grab any of their delicious cocktails. A must go!!
The owner/chef was very polite and very professional. The food was BEYOND awesome! In Irving, Texas around 1:00 - 1:30 AM its EXTREMELY difficult to find a place to get takeout and then you factor in Quality.....forget about it. Well...my thoughts about that has changed totally due to stopping at Knockout Tacos on February 26th 2022. I ordered 4 pollo tacos, 4 barbacoa tacos, 4 fajita tacos, and 1 beef burrito with no beans! The food speaks to the name of the restaurant...KNOCKOUT!!

Just absolutely delicious.Let me start off by saying I’ve had plenty of tacos and I’ve had some from the motherland. This place lives up to the name. Knockout Tacos won with a K.O. The “Knockout Taco” is a beast of a taco that just keeps on hitting bite after bite. The Pastor is very well marinated and packs a very robust flavor that pairs beautifully with their options of salsas. The Lengua taco is very tender and is such a great and flavorful option. The Carnitas goes hard too. Every bite was just as good as the first bite. Not to mention they are quick and the price point for such quality food is so good. I would absolutely recommend this place to anybody looking for a quick bite and for someone craving an authentic street taco. Do yourself a favor and experience this menu firsthand.
Buffalo wings were good but barbacoa and pork tacos smelled like pure s*** along with grilled onions. The smell was so strong I couldn't finish.
