Amazing food. Sev puri is a must try. Dosa was amazing as well. Chana Bhatura tasted better after adding extra salt and pepper in Chana. I really loved the service as well as the cleanliness of the place.Great pricing for the food as well. You will enjoy the food without hurting your pocket here.
Honest!!!! I am from the city where this restaurant originated so I am kind of biased, but I love the food here. I grew up eating honest pav bhaji and the fact that I can get that here 9000 miles away, can’t get better than that. Try different fusion dosa here, my favorite is dabang dosa. I love their pav bhaji, chole bhature and bahubali sandwich!
They said that the food quality at this restaurant has worsened over the period of time. But, I totally disagree with those reviews. We had our Sunday lunch at this location and food was finger lickin' good. For the appetizer, we ordered Dahi-Puri topped with chopped beetroots? For the main course, we ordered cheese butter masala and mushroom masala, to eat with butter rotis. The food was simply delish. Also, we ordered mango and kesar-pista lassi.?They tasted flavorful and refreshing on a sunday summer afternoon. To add, kesar-pista lassi tasted like having liquified shrikhand due to the cardamom twist.
Been here twice so far. This place is pretty dang good. I'm not a vegetarian, but this place is, and it keeps me wanting to come back for more. That's how good their food is. Their dosas are large and the accompanying chutneys and sambar are pretty good as well. Their Bahubali sandwich is pretty delicious too. Honest also has a really delicious sugarcane juice that pairs well with lime and ginger. It is sweet and refreshing, especially on days that are warm.
One of the worst Indian food in Dallas. The curry barely had any flavour. We could not finish any of the food completely except the Paneer 65 and Lassi. Also, the washroom is in a dire condition. Would not recommend.
So let’s be honest about Honest Restaurant Review: I’ve visited this place over the course of a year from the soft opening to as recent as yesterday and weekend before. Overall the ambiance is well suited for location.Cleanliness is 5 starService: 5 starNow let’s talk about the food. Which I have ordered over and over.Appetizers:Paneer Tikka and Paneer Pudina Tikka is to die for. If you don’t order this you are missing out in-house made fresh Paneer. Which is made to perfection for a paneer lover.Punjabi curries: my all time favorite is Paneer Tava Masala. I couldn’t emphasize the flavor and smoky tava feel the dish has. Hands down 5 StarNow let’s get to Bahubali Sandwich which has a tangy kick and served with chips. That is filling if you are having for lunch or dinner. 5 StarWhen it comes to Pav Bhaji we ought to have a broader understanding that it’s made in Gujrati style as made in India. Most people when ordering it have an understanding that it would be made in Mumbai style but need to understand it’s Gujrati restaurant and fits perfectly with the local norms to its original location in India. So if you want to expand your palette it’s Honest Special Pav Bhaji is good.To put cherry in top they serve it with fresh Amul Cheese which brings back fond memories to me.I did visit the store during peak rush hour between 830-915 PM and got excellent service and amazing food.Overall the food has improved from soft opening to current day and taste to bring you back to their doors again.
January 2022Honest restaurant has a large footprint not only in the US, but overseas as well. This restaurant, with its roots tied deeply into Indian cuisine and culture, provides an extensive menu from appetizers, chaat, sandwiches and main course. If you’re visiting honest restaurants, the main attraction is always going to revolve around chaat and appetizers.I visited for dinner on a Sunday. I was delighted with the quick service. We ordered a bunch of things off of the menu and everything was served in a timely manner. The food - Bhaji pav, Dabang Dosa, Kattapa Sandwich and Chinese bhel. The Pav Bhaji had that nostalgic Indian street style flavor, the Sandwich was a wild card loaded with cheese and good flavor while the Chinese bhel was loved by everyone for its fiery attitude and crunchy bits. The dosa, however, left us wanting for more.Overall, was this the best chaat that I’ve ever had? NO. Was this the best Honest restaurant that I’ve ever visited? NO. Is it good for the price? Absolutely YES.Everything that we ordered was tasty, the service was amicable and the place was big with good amount of seating space. There’s a big parking lot outside so you shouldn’t have a problem finding a parking space. This restaurant is good for family, friends and colleagues alike.
One of the best veg restaurants in the area. Been here many times, and hope to edit this review with more pics later.Butter naan + paneer butter - 10/10 (melts in mouth)Triple schezwan fried rice - 6/10 (oily)
The ambiance was great.Food was good. We had a mix cuisine of dosa, chaat and chicken.
I must say the taste, freshness, and quality of food are incredible. It reminds you the real authentic taste of true Indian cuisine. Most importantly, their promt and welcoming service is highly appreciated and unique in the town.
