Got this via Uber eats for lunch. I love curry and I like Nepal style curry. This was AWFUL. It's as if the cap fell off the seasoning container and 25 meals worth dumped in. Then the person cooking it said oh well and made it anyway. Imagine a dish of curry that has half a container of curry powder in it, vs a teaspoon. That was my meal. Huge thumbs down, I agree with the others that said they need a kitchen manager.
I miss the old aroma..back then they used to have such a delicious foods but the new management has totally disappointed me as the food didn’t taste good and fresh. As I was going through the previous reviews.. saw the response from the owner on each review and being an owner responding with such a bad attitude is very disgusting and unprofessional. This kind of bad attitude might create a huge issue going forward and also might lose customers. So, please just try to response in a professional and decent way.Thank you ?
Less Quantity and poor quality. I am a foodie and tried all the Nepali restaurants in town. This restaurant is worse in taste. I requested extra Spicy and they put a lot of red chilies and burnt them which gave bitter taste on the whole order. I really want to ask why is this restaurant even open. I bet I can cook better than your chef which is what I ended up doing after tasting your food. I’m sorry to say this but you need to find a better chef or you’ll be closing soon. With a smile
Worst Nepalese Restaurant ever around Irving area. Overly priced and low quality food. Also, our manager placed complain with the manager(Ram) there but instead of listening to our complain and look for room for improvement, he was stubborn and irresponsible to accept the customer response for their worst services. This was my worst experience visiting any Nepali restaurant, the food was bad and the price is high, the service was the worst of all, This was my first and the last time visiting this place, I highly suggest no one to visit the restaurant any time.
A friend and I who like to try ethnic restaurants chose Himalayan Aroma, as we wanted to try Nepali food. SO glad we did!We ordered 3 dishes; steamed chicken momo, chicken thali, and buffalo sukuti set. All of the dishes were excellent! The momo had a thick spicy red sauce that was delicious and then had a warm spicy aftertaste. The chicken thali was tasty and gave a nice variety of flavors and textures. The buffalo was very chewy, but based on a Googled description, it was supposed to be that way. The condiments and beans that came with it were practically fought over! The server was sweet and soft spoken, so much so that we had a hard time hearing her. She was attentive, though.I don't know what is up with the negative reviews. Based on experiences with mutton at other places, we steered clear of mutton dishes. We ate our fill and had enough left over for 2 take-away boxes, and we give Himalayan Aroma 4 big thumbs up!!!!
I just have a set of chicken sekuwa and taas. It was very incredible. My first visit to this restaurant met all of my expectations. Great work!
First thing first…food was amazing. Had a chicken jhol momo, chicken chowmein and Mutton cholela set. Everything was great. Tips for the chef please don’t put the green peas in noodles. Best thing was I didn’t taste MSG in their food. Good job guys. Will be back when I visit DSW area again.
It's was awesome to be here today. At first I saw the poor rating of this restaurant and decided not to go but thought to try once. Everything over here is typical Nepali style. You will find excellent taste of food. Finally I got to know that the poor rating was because of the previous owner. Now they have new owner and new taste. It's worth to go there ...
No idea what happened to this place. Have been coming to this place as long as I can remember but they seriously have downgraded their food level. Was excited after seeing mutton momo on the menu but you can rather call it maida momo. They seriously need to step up their game. They can increase their price but customer want a decent meal for their money.
We ordered Veg chowmein and Momo for Take Out. While the Momo was somewhat average, chowmein was horrible. It didn't have any taste except being oily and spicy. The paneer that was added was not properly cooked. I threw the food in trash after I tasted.
