I really like this little spot. The owner & the employees are always smiling in a good mood. They are patient with me for I am not too familiar with all of their snacks describe them out to me & don't mind my substitutions with the ingredients. I come here a lot. In my mind they are a healthier choice of snack. My kids now ask 'Are you going to La Banana?". They are fans now too.
Great place to get elote and fresas con crema
I did not expect them to have such a great range of snacks available and am throughly impressed. Their chip bowl with the corn and nacho cheese was amaaaaazing with takis. I’ll definitely go again, though I wouldn’t get the aguas frescas as the ones we got were not authentic (they blended the fresh fruits with water and called it a day - the strawberry banana one was like a milkshake but undrinkable). Otherwise the prices were fair and this place is a go-to Irving staple.

I have been going here since the day they opened. The service has always been amazing. The employees are so nice and polite and the food/menu is probably the best I’ve had at any frutería.
SUPER NICE & HELPFUL. I didn’t know what one of the plates were because i had only seen it on someone’s snap, so i had to kinda explain what i saw. and the lady there was so helpful and sweet. She made my day !
I drive all the way from Bedford to this place!! I love it!! Their elotes are SO good, their strawberry banana milk shakes and their famous tequila ice cream!!!
