I have not been to this place in a couple of years but remembered how great the soup dumplings were so decided to have my partners bday dinner here. The soup dumplings did not disappoint…in fact, everything was very tasty. However, the service was probably the worst I’ve experienced. We were only table that had plastic Solo cups. All the drinks were not right, and we waited for over 20 minutes for a waitress as they did not know who was assigned to our table. She was very nice but no awareness. We had to ask for everything throughout the meal. Great food but don’t expect much in service.

Great food and drinks all the way around. They were gracious enough to entertain and meet the needs of our rambunctious and inebriated group :)

Outstanding Chinese food. Friendly wait staff. Good prices.

I ordered thru Uber eats and there were missing items . The food that did show up was not awe inspiring . Quality was poor. Dipping sauces for apps were awful. We ordered Mongolian beef which consisted primarily of partially cooked Onions covered in a secret liquidy brown sauce that was tough to even consider eating . Good chinese is not that hard to find in DFW . Go somewhere else. We were both a little disappointed after reading some of reviews . Maybe they had a bad night but based on the food quality of ingredients i would suggest this is the norm.

Pretty good and different from all those other Chinese restaurants. My favorites had to be the spinach in egg sauce, general tsos chicken, and the soup dumplings. The sweet and sour jellyfish was a first to me and the flavor wasn't bad but has a very unusual texture. The general tsos was definitely different than what you get at most other places... More on the sweet than the spicy side. The spinach was different as well and very good.

I didn’t try their signature Xiao long bao and just had lunch special - sweet and sour pork. The lunch cost $12 and comes with steamed rice (or fried rice), a cup of soup (egg drop or hot and sour soup) and veggie roll - the standard set menu in Chinese restaurants. The taste gets 3 stars since the food was just so so in my opinion, the soup was a bit bland and the veggie roll a bit uncooked inside. The pork was cooked okay, but it was a bit too sour to my liking.Plus one star for the ambience and the clean toilet. The service was also quick and welcoming.

Fortune House is a solid Chinese restaurant with more authentic options than the usual Americanized dishes. The dumplings certainly steal the show and unfortunately only after having eaten there the noodles were recommended, so I wish I had tried those. The mapo tofu was very good, I'll be a little mild on the spice front and with the mala flavor, but it's still there. The basil chicken was delicious, extremely flavorful, but just eat them carefully because whole chicken is utilized. My only recommendation would to be to add a starch to the Szechuan beef, maybe a potato, just so all that flavorful oil could absorb into something.

The food was amazing, as were the drinks! We were there for a celebration and the staff were very accommodating!!! What a great dining experience. Can't wait to go back. Also, Sunny was our waitress and was super attentive! Thank you for helping us celebrate!

Best high quality authentic Chinese food in the DFW area, not your usual Chinese cooking! Vegetables are prepared with expertise and care! Szechuan style cooking and soup dumplings are the best!! Give them a try, will never regret coming.

Best dumplings in Dallas!! The xao long bao was excellent.
