So I been visiting this place for more than 10 yrs now. I've loved their food like momos, chicken chowmein and chicken tikka masala to be specific. It's is out of this world. I quit meat sometime ago and I've been trying their veggie chowmin, veg momos and paneer tikka. They are all good except their veg momos. Veg momos are way too blend and lacks seasoning for their stuffing. So I ordered jhol momo this time hopping it will have a better taste then steamed veg momos. But I was disappointed again by the veg jhol momos as well. Even the jhol for momo was blend and didn't make up for tasteless momos. I am writing this review so that they can improve their veg momos. Everything else is great about this place. Plus they have new waitresses working every now and then and they don't recognize regular customers and there for customer service goes down the hill too due to no experience and offer look at you with blank stares. Please train your staff better to maintain the friendly atmosphere for even the customers who are not Nepali.Sorry, but little criticism was needed after giving my business to this place for over 10 hrs.Thank you and hopefully y'all will work on your veg momos :) and the aachar, chutney or jhol that goes with it.PS- I always spend $25-30 at this place by my self per week. Which is $1200 per yr.Would love to continue to give y'all my business. But not being able to find tasty veg momos at a "Himalayan Nepali" place is a disappointment. It's a delicacy and authentic taste should come through your food.Added pictures are to show my love for this place.
The food was really into my taste buds, I don’t know why but every time I visit here the young ladies are so warm and the service is too good. But then, today I was heartbroken to see those servers being behaved so wrongly! There were 8-10 people eating and were so loud, most of us sitting right beside them were feeling quite uneasy! When they were done with their food, the way one of the lady and the guy with her yelled those servers so bad for the 18%Gratuity. The girls tried their best to convince them but they were so rude to them. After they left we asked them, they were sad but still managed to serve us well. I visited to have the tikka masala which is my favorite, as always it was awesome! I don’t k now how they manage to make it taste so good, but just the group of people who were loud made the place a bit noisy! I didn’t want to write this but for the reminder please try to be kind with everyone, that’s how you’re gonna be treated! Thank you Everest team for always making us feel welcomed and the ladies working today, you were so kind! ?
This place never disappoints. Authentic Nepali good, so delicious and spicy of course!
We had to wait over half an hour for our order. What annoyed me more was this family who ordered their food 15 minutes after us, got their food at least 10 minutes before ours arrived. The quality of the biriyani that I ordered was not worth the half an hour of wait, and the terrible service we had to endure.
The Indian food here is to die for!! I drive ALL the way here from east Dallas and it is worth it!! Recommend the chicken lollipop appetizer and Lamb Korma or Rogan Josh!! One of the best Indian restaurants I've ever been to.
Momo’s were too good. Naan’s were made like softer than cake. Desi chicken curry with garlic naan resembles heavenly taste. Great hospitality by servers @ Alisha, sumi. However, restaurant was spotless and every nook and corner was good. Mutton tash recommended by one of the server Sujita was damn good.
I'm going to start with saying the food is really good! The drinks were super good too! The waitress was nice.Getting our drinks and food took a long time. We had to wait a while and it was difficult getting a waiters attention to get to go boxes.I'd definitely go again!
Now and then you find a gym. This is one of those gems. It's not Indian food. But, it's the best Indian food around. The curry definitely takes you to the base of Mount Everest itself. If you've done any traveling at all and you've gone through Asia, you'll know what I mean when I say the curry takes you somewhere. Curry is a family Staples in that part of the world and I would equivocate it to either the salsa or the size of tortillas if you're Hispanic. You can tell we're a family's from based on those two things. Just like Curry. It is one of the best Curry's I've ever tasted in my life. And I have made it a personal project to taste and review every single Indian restaurant in the DFW area. That said my trick stopped whenever I Came Upon the Everest Restaurant. There's no need to go any further. Everything here is just playing freaking delicious and there is nothing that this food is lacking or has too much of. It's seriously is perfect. Do yourself a favor, with the family in the family truckster, grab your parkas, and come take a trip to Nepal. This restaurant is truly one-of-a-kind and should be highlighted in some Irving magazine.
Usually I used to order thali from here for lunch. Their thali is okay. However , Today I ordered momos and mixed Hakka noodle. The momos were okay but the Hakka noodle was so black as if they poured the whole bottle of soy sauce. The taste was so nasty still I had no choice in office so I tried to eat meat only but after few spoons I ended throwing up. I will never ever recommend neither will ever visit this place again.
I loved the food. Chicken lollipop was the best. Goat Biryani was also good. But if they had long rice grains then it would be better but the taste was awesome.I also do recommend chowmein.Thank you for the amazing food.
