This place is amazing! Empanadas are fresh and stayed warm even after I had to drive over half an hour from the restaurant. They give you some sauce to go as well, which is delicious. I got brisket, chicken, the spicy ham one, and guava/cheese. All good, but the standout in flavor was the chicken for sure! The spicy one packs a kick, but it's not unbearable. Also, the owner is so nice, which comes across even in the 30 second interaction during ordering and pickup. =)

Didn't know this was a big deal going in, just needed something quick near the rental car place. It was awesome! Special highlight to the Chicken Gordon Bleu, and the Chilipanzingas. The menu warns you that the latter is very spicy; this is not an idle threat. If you don't like heat, it's going to be a painful experience.

The place was hopping, but the lady behind the counter was cranking food out. Tried several which were all very good. Pilly cheesesteak was the table favorite, followed by the cordon blu. Nutella and banana was the perfect desert to finish it off.Best part is the prices. Will be back for more.

Stopped off on my way to the Ripley's museum cause it caught my eye and boy I'm sure glad I did. Best empanadas I've ever had. Lots of vegetarian options and the even have dessert empanadas. Absolutely amazing. Bonus the lady running the place is a pure delight. Just so friendly and personable. I felt like I was at a family's house with the welcoming atmosphere. This is a definite must stop if your in the Dallas area.

This place is a tiny gem in Irving. The place is small with many tables and chairs for those who want to dine in. The lady that works the counter is the one that prepares your order she's quick taking your order and cooking your order too.Process is you grab a menu and with a black crayon you mark the empanada you want by choosing the type and number next to each. The menus and crayons are next to the register. They have guava and cheese, chicken, beef, brisket, chicken cordon Bleu, ham, pumpkin, spinach and ricotta, etc. After you order they charge you and put your order in a box if you want it to go. I recommend the place for a quick bite, the flavors are so good. Prices are ok. I ate two and was full already.

Cheese steak and Tuna very good.

There's a pretty decent array of choices at Empa Mundo. Everything I had was okay, but I had an upset stomach the entire day after eating here.

I may have gone overboard with my first visit here, but don't regret it! The empanadas are fried when you order and come out hot and delicious! The staff here are incredibly helpful and friendly as well, making for a great first visit. I don't live very close by, but will happily return here again! Also try the chimichurri sauce!

What a fantastic empanada place.Great variety of flavors and selection of both savory and sweet empanadas. The guava cheese is a big favorite for sweet and the chorizo the top for savory. We will definitely commit to coming back once in the area to try them all!

I got the classic Argentina flavor: chicken. It has eggs and olives (which are mild) as well. Can’t wait to come back and try all the flavors! Perfectly crispy and the chimichurri was very flavorful as well.Highly recommend!Very friendly owners! He is from Argentina she is from Singapore.
