I'd like to say it was good, but it wouldn't be true. I had much hope, but it wasn't met. For having prices that rival other well known Italian restaurants, my first impression was having to go up to counter, and seeing pizza like you find in the mall. Large and under heat lamps for hours. We were unable to find napkins at all. Food was brought to the table, and they never checked on us again. The food was mediocre. The bread was warm and fresh, but almost tasteless. This was a mid-afternoon visit, so they can't claim they were busy, only one other table was being used.Since I can't reply..NO, we did not place our order before we got there. It is pretty hard to order ahead when we didn't know what all was on your menu and that was our first visit.NO, you did not provide ANYTHING, I had to go up to the drink machine and get the forks and knifes. There were no wrapped sets of utensils in sight. We were NEVER informed it was self service.I don't care how long you've been in the community, my review was honest and accurate. But your response tells me that you had another customer who had close to the same issue. We did not choose self-service, whoever told you that LIED to you.

We had high hopes for this place, especially after seeing the prices. Unfortunately, none were met.nice walls and tables didn't make up for an otherwise fast food atmosphere, with being able to see the checkout lane and kit hen, or the pizzas under a heat lamp. There were no napkins to be found, and no individual plates provided for the garlic bread, which, while crunchy and exquisite textural, had hardly any flavor. We ordered the grilled fish plate and meat lasagna. Best part of the fish plate was the veggies, surprisingly, at least when they weren't covered in the sauce from the fish. They were seasoned wonderfully, and the sauce covered that up. While the fish was nice, between wildly random music, prices like Olive Garden, environment like a fancy Long John Silvers, and food like discount Chillis, this was not a repeatable experience.Edit: 3/15/2022I do see the reply from the restaraunt owner below this post, and I have to say you're handling your reviews very poorly. My husband and I did not order ahead, we placed our order at the counter and sat down to eat for dine in. This had been our plan from the start, and we answered dine-in when asked eating in or takeout. My husband actually got up to get me silverware, and neither of us could find napkins. You would do well in your business practice not to attack your customers for an honest review, it usually only proves the problems, especially when you do it en masse.

Tried to find a good non chain Italian restaurant in Irving, found this restaurant from Google maps and highest rating among Italian restaurants in general area so looking forward to giving it a try. Also noted that they had a whole page on Gluten free pasta options, so thought this was a good choice to pick on a Monday night with friend.Get to the restaurant and tried to order any gluten free pasta, told they have none (spaghetti, penne, ziti, nothing?). Ordered wings for appetizer (actually good), I ordered a salad with house Italian dressing that tasted like some vinegar based thousand isle (not good).I ordered chicken piccata, watered down sauce over bland chicken breast. My friend ordered pasta with meatballs and side of sausage, the sausage tasted really low grade.Very disappointed and don't understand the 4.6 rating from Google reviews?

Very good service. Taste was very good. Bread was great. Price was okay. My first choice for lunch or dinner. Must make delivery, everybody taste…

Really nice service the food is very good and fair price!!

First time . It was decent I can't say wow but goodStarted eating and forgot to take pics first??‍♀️??‍♀️We ate a slice of pizza each,Lasagna, the long plate are three stuffed mushrooms with the cheese sauce on itLol also almost all gone salad

My wife and I swing by there about twice per month. Great food. We’ve tried It all. The team and owner are top notch. True European taste right in the heart of Irving downtown. Perfect!

Excellent local restaurant in the heart of historical downtown Irving. We have visited twice now and had great service, food, and experience both times. The lobster bisque is delicious. Will return often.

They have the best iskender kebab in the town? So clean??best price?

Nice Italian eatery in old downtown Irving. The food here is really fantastic, Pizza. Stromboli, chicken entrees, Marsala, Piccatta, etc., and on our last visit, made an eggplant & garlic pizza (this is not on the menu, y'all). Good service, great food, and the owner goes out of his way to be sure you are satisfied. I highly recommend this restaurant, one of my favorite places to eat, anytime, anywhere!
