We were just here for lunch and that was delicious. I did the Chicken Seekh and it was a very generous portion, reasonably priced. Everything was super fresh, and we were so happy with everything. The hostess/cashier was extremely helpful. I can't wait to make this a regular lunch spot for us.
It's an old and good biryani restaurant but they jave some serious problems. This shop is 1hr away from my location even then just for the taste I try to visit again and again1. They don't answer your call/give a call back.?2. They took my order but gave it to someother customer and when I arrive they says they don't have any more goat biryani or any of the goat items, seriously!!!! I have ordered and drove for so long just to hear this.?3. Increased the price of biryani from 55$ tray to 70(after tax) and they used to give 65 on the trays but they stopped it.This place is going to go down real quickly if they won't fix this issues. They call this below dish called chicken dum biryaniI am not going to visit this location again.
Got two Karachi goat biriyani . the taste of the biriyani was decent but the number of goat pieces were very less(it seems the store wants to save money even though they have priced the biriyani pretty high) and it was mostly bones with very little meat on it .Disappointed . I hope the store focuses more on the quality than making profits . Would NOT recommend this store . NOT worth it .
The biryani here is amazing . So yes they get four stars it’s that good. The place is weird other then that . Lady behind the counter tried to charge me more for dining in?! Very weird . They always play this awful loud Muslim music . It’s honestly obnoxious . Please don’t play prayer music in a restaurant . No one wants to hear that man singing same tune over and over .
Every dish is so delicious. Briyani, Haleem, Mandi . Owner and staff are very humble. They always go above and beyond. They provide ultimate customer experience. They make same like back home Hyderabadi taste . My kids loves there briyani. Thank You so much for providing awesome food .
Ahmed was helping me with my order and certainly he knows who take care of the business and understand customers pulse.. 5 Stars to you Ahmed and Deccan Grill
Who in their right mind is charging South Asians $17 for a plate of mediocre biryani. Two biryanis and an appetizer will run you $50+, and yes the portion is still the same as a $5.99 dish somewhere else. Order ahead and they say it will be ready in 20 min. So you arrive in 40 min, they say wait, go in the kitchen for 5 minutes and come back out and say they forgot one of the biryanis, sorry bout it, please wait another 30 minutes.I don’t have 30 more minutes. Now one biryani and appetizer is still $35. They are nice people and the environment is nice - but sorry, nice doesn’t cut it. That being said, I’m usually not a chicken 65 person but they do have a bangin chicken 65.The high prices keep their door open but with that location, same quality (could be better), and half the price of items, they could keep the door open with 4x the units being sold. Ya it’s more product to buy and half the margins but it’s also more than twice the current profit. Quick maths. Just saying
I was on vacation from KY and wanted to try Hyderabadi dum biryani in Dallas area. Tried biryani in multiple places but Deccan Grill dum biryani was amazing with good taste and texture. Chicken 65 was also the best. I strongly recommend this place. This is going to be my Goto place for desi food from now on.
Food is absolutely good and up to par. However, the order arrives very late at your table. They are not sure how to prioritize orders. The cashiers(girl and a lady) simply said that they have many orders to go so dine in orders are late and we will have to wait for them to be finished. Ignored their foolish vulgar response because food was really good. This is the main section. The girl at the counter billed a 20% tip unbeknownst to us that we realized after 2 days of transaction displayed. When I called her to crosscheck she just answered that we charge that for dine in. If this is the case, then it is pointless for them to even keep dining open. Not at all recommend and girl at the counter is very rude. Worst customer service.
My wife ordered beer biryani from here to go, and when she arrive home she found only a small piece of beef. I call them to file complaint. the lady on phone asked a bunch of questions and in the end said it wasn't a big deal because it was only $12 biryani plate. Rather than apologize, she said "it happens, it's not a big deal." I'm not going to drive all the way here only for bad quality and bad service.
