We always love coming to North Texas to eat at Cowboy Chicken. Their bowls, enchiladas, rotisserie chicken and sides are so tasty! I order the three piece dark which has two thighs and a leg. It comes with two sides and a roll. The creamed spinach was very good, but I was disappointed by the roasted broccoli this time. It was hard, dry, and overcooked. I ate everything in my tray except that, because it was inedible and tasted off. Overall I would recommend this restaurant. You can't beat their chicken!
If the staff moved a little faster and the "kids" working the register weren't chatting with the cooks, I would give it 2 stars.It took 30 mins for a buffalo sandwich and brisket and rotisserie chicken plate. And we were the only ones when we walked into the restaurant. A couple came in 15 mins after we did and they got their food first.Buffalo chicken sandwich was SO SALTY. We will not be back. I hope they improve their service.
Wanted to try this location bc the hype was big and I must say it's 100% accurate. U guys this place is the bomb. Lol they also have these monster chocolate chip ?'s and snickerdoodle cookies they are delicious. I highly recommend the Buffalo Rotisserie Chicken sandwich#CowboyChicken

Had the brisket plate! It was excellent! Mexican street corn and twice baked potatoes were amazing!
We both ordered the brisket combo. The brisket was extremely dry. The 1/4 chicken was ok. Thank God for the BBQ sauce. Rolls were cold, hard and dry. Sides were all cold except the creamed spinach. We’ll try anything once. That was our 1x!!
First time eating here. A coworker recommended this place and I decided to give it a try. Pretty good chicken and I loved the seasoning they used on the French fries. Definitely will try to go again before leaving the area.
I eat at Cowboy Chicken restaurants around town. They generally are ok to pretty good, but the meal I had at the Irving location tonight was exceptional. Everything was HOT. I couldn't eat my chicken right away because it was so hot. And the skin was crisp, I assume from just coming out of the rotisserie. Even the sides were GREAT. The green beans I was served were still firm and bright green, unlike the mostly soggy ones I tend to get at other locations. Thanks guys, excellent meal.

Ordered a whole chicken at the counter. No one warned me it would be a 40 min wait to literally just get rotessri chicken in a box. Waited 40 mins . Very slow staff. Chicken was dry . Amd I generally like cowboy chicken. I get it ; everyone is having staffing issues. But here’s a Suggestion tell ppl before they order how long it’s going to be. I wasted my whole work lunch and had no time to eat waiting for what cowboy chicken should be able to pump out with ease . A whole chicken.
