Employee at the front register seem to be under a lot of stress, she was taking walk in and phone in orders, charging at register, and preparing order to go, had so many orders back up, people having to wait a long time for their orders. When people were asking how much longer they had to wait, the employee was very frustrated and was responding in a sarcastic way. She had quite a few people upset due to the wait time. There for a minute It was getting loud between the customers and the employee, while the owner was very busy cooking.
I hope everyone had a beautiful Christmas. Before I start my experience I like to thank God for blessing me live to see another day on this Earth. To be honest it's not like it used to be. The reason why I gave them a three-star is the one I noticed it has been downsizing the chicken and also the prices have went up. I truly understand how things are these days that we are living. But also let's be fair in this situation. It's not even worth it but you raise your price up but you also not giving a quality all the amount that they rightfully deserve. If you go up on your food that you are serving to the customers then you need to give them the right of food that they are paying for not downsizing the meat. The chicken fingers are half the size it used to and I'm not feeling that but I still come by because I am a long-time customer and I do enjoy the chicken but it's not fair. We are not satisfied. But I know they have others chicken and rice I could go to but I decided to steal go by the one that I am specifying about in Irving. I am really disappointed and we may not even go back because this really not fair for the customer that really do enjoy the food that's they are serving here. When you lose customer you definitely going to lose money and these days of time you don't need to lose at all. And we wish all have a wonderful New Year's and be safe at all time:-)
Been a loyal customer for as long as I can remember. I used to come here as a kid with my mom to pickup dinner twice a month back in the late 90's. Now 20 years later my kids and I grab a family pack from them once every few months. Chicken always fresh and crispy, egg rolls are delicious, regular rice and combination rice is always perfect. Catfish is good and they sell Big Red! Lol can't find that in alot of places. The lady who owns it also runs it, she's always nice and stays busy feeding all of Irving she's known as "Momma" cause just like a mother she never stops or slows down. I moved to the other side of Irving 16 years ago and I still come way over here to get chicken and rice even though there's a different chicken and rice place 4 minutes away from my house. She always has a long line inside all the way up to, and out the door but there's a reason for that. Good food and nice people will keep you coming back for more each time.
This place had a really big menu. I will try to take pictures of it. Soon and post it.Their chicken and rice definitely good. The person that took my order was very friendly then minutes later I found out that she's multilingual. Very busy here but very quick. Physical Protocols are in place and enforced. My meal turned out perfect. I would suggest anybody to go here and get meals for the family. My name is Arnold and I approve this message. ?
I grew up on Chicken & Fried Rice! Run by lovely people who make the BEST crispy chicken. I live 4 hours away, but always make a stop every time I pass through Irving. Thank you!

It's an Irving staple great little family owned shop. Can't beat the food for the price. I would order ahead tho it's well loved so there's usually a line.
It used to be super good, but now the tenders are a little smaller and not the same. We've been coming here for about 13 yrs now.
