Last night my family wanted Chicago deep dish pizza and I found a quaint place called Chicago Pizza & Pasta. I ordered the Original deep dish with cheese and took it home. We loved it, the cheese is incredible. I need to ask them if the cheese is made in house, it might be. The sauce has a touch of sweetness and acidity from the tomatoes that really balances out the mildly savory cheese.The great quality of this pizza is something very hard to find at any restaurant.
I am Born and raised from Chicago IL this restaurant is false advertising saying Chicago pizza they are nowhere near close too Chicago pizza restaurants and the best Chicago style pizza restaurant is in Addison belt line rd n midway Taste of Chicago. This restaurant messed up my entire order on pizza and wings I had specifically instructions and they didn't pay any attention too it and will never see Me again as long as I'm here in Texas awful sad discrase too Chicago smh
Pizza tasted salty, and it was severely overpriced. I paid $14 for a medium-sized pepperoni pizza, and it looked like a small. Slices were way too tiny, like kid's slices. Ridiculous. Further, there were hardly any pepperonis in it. I get it we're in the middle of an inflation, but come on. Don't rip off your customers. You might as well put up a sign that reads, "We'll take your money and you get nothing in return. Come on in."Won't be coming back here.
The food was quite good. I had the meat lovers pizza. Though it was small, the pizza was delicious and filling. I also enjoyed the Chicago hot dog. I recommend this restaurant.
I'm from Chicago & when I first came to Texas & went to this spot... I couldn't stop ordering lol. I absolutely love their Pasta. I haven't tried the pizza but the pasta is AMAZING & Also the tasty garlic bread. The customer service is ALWAYS 5 star they are really sweet & welcoming. I recommend this place !!
As of right now, this is the best halal pizza in DFW.The biggest issue halal pizza places have is trying to imitate or modify a NY pizza while producing a certifiably inferior product. Here, they steered away and went with their hometown classic Chicago pies instead.Now, despite the 5 stars I did have some qualms. Our pizza was definitely rushed and burnt, but ingredient quality was solid, seasoning was good and dough was chewy. Mind you, this was all on Christmas day with literally non-stop orders and they still got my order out in 30.If you're looking for authentic Chicago pies or a stacked deep dish, I can't say this is it from my experience, but I'm still coming back.
Excellent pizza quality, taste, and customer service. The owner and staff are always accommodating, polite, and have everything ready for us in a timely manner. Chicago Pizza and Pasta is our go-to for pizza, and we are never disappointed!
Pepperoni was under the cheese and the pepperoni was discussing. The crust tasted off and the pizza was nothing like other deep dish pizzas available, ordered here because there were no other options. Go somewhere else for pizza, as for everything else I'm not sure.
This pizza was disgusting and greasy. I’m from Chicago, this is Nothing like Chicago pizza. It was not hot, looked as if it was handled upside down. Too bad a can’t give it 0 stars.
