2nd time here in years ! The place is alot bigger. They unfortunately don't have a mini store anymore its basically full on restaurant. You get greeted right when you come in and sit wherever you like. Waitress was super sweet. Food does take a while to get to you but its due to it being made fresh right when you order it. So worth it! I got the goose burger its delicious. Hot link is amazing. Just couldn't finish it lol so huge ! Definitely coming back again to try other items on their menu. Recommend this place 100% .

The burger was fine, not great, nothing I will be thinking about later. There are better burger options downtown. I know they’re going for a 50s diner vibe, but the decor is random and scattered. It just feel like it needs a renovation. Our waitress was wonderful and very friendly.

Quintessential diner food, lousy coffee, excellent service...just the way I like it. I'm glad a few places, like Big State Fountain Grill, still exist. If you're feeling nostalgic for 'The Before Times', stop in for lunch. I recommend the Bettie Page BLT, a side of onion rings, and a strawberry milkshake. ?

Decided to try someplace new to us and it was well worth it, the Donald was very good and huge, cheeseburger with hot link and egg,…. Our new favorite place…??

First time there. I had a cheese Burger and fries and it was very good. Will definitely be back. Came back a couple days later, had the chicken strip salad and it was great. The people working there are extremely friendly. It definitely has an authentic dinner experience feel to the place.

Family dining place and great food with amazing shakes.

great food and prices. will return

I used to bring my kids here for a special treat. The old timey ambiance is something they love, and the food used to be great. My boyfriend and I decided to stop in for lunch since we hadn't visited in a while. I ordered the yardbird sandwich, which is just a chicken sandwich, and he ordered a hamburger with cheese fries. My order wasn't correct so I had to send it back. The tater tots were over cooked. The burger was steaming hot thru and thru. Like it had been microwaved. The buns became chewy as they cooled, which further solidified this suspicion. And, our server was more interested in chatting up another co-worker and patron sitting at the bar, than rounding her tables. The ambiance is still there, but the food and service just isn't up to par anymore. Needless to say, we probably won't visit again.

Old fashion feel and a great cooked meal love it the strawberry shake is the best in Texas.

Super clean and friendly. Easy street parking plus a little side parking lot if needed. Jump back in time to this soda fountain and Diner! Try the patty melt and fried okra. Delicious!
