Bar Louie - Not a bad spot for some decent eats. Was busier than usual during the visit as a convention was occurring nearby and like many of the businesses in the area they were woefully understaffed for the volume. Found a spot at the bar and it was easy to order and was not neglected by the bar staff which was a plus. Ordered the cheesesteak and it was surprisingly flavorful but a little salty for my tastes. The tater tots were delightfully crispy which is always a good thing. The drinks however were probably the weak point. Seems like the mixture of their soft drinks is just a little off as everything tasted slightly weaker in flavor and borderline flat. Try to stick to the items that are bottled would be my recommendation as I was not the only one during the visit that recognized the difference.
Can't rave about Bar Louie but I can say I have never been disappointed. Can always get a good drink and meal here. My critique is more personal preference. It always feels a bit chaotic but once you are being serviced the staff is always nice and attentive. The service is a bit slow but it is always busy and it seems that staffing is still down post COVID.
Had an amazing time with a great waitress, Courtney! Thank you for serving our large group and keeping our orders straight!
Courtney was crucial in making sure our privet event was a success. She and her team went out of their way to accommodate us beyond our needs. From food to drinks to atmosphere 10/10 will be booking more events with Courtney and Bar Louie in Texas! Thank you!
Good place food late night chill, stays open till 3am and thats what I like, tired of all places closing down at 9 and 10, Gosh!!! This place is pretty lit and happening, liked the ambience and vibes, good drinks too, loved it
Food was excellent,Drinks were awesome, BUTService was not so good took awhile For server to come to the table to take my order and refill our drinks I had to get up and just order my drinks from the bar… she took about another 15 min to bring me my tab.
Great American sports bar style restaurant. Unfortunately they were out of pasta when I went, but the burgers were good. Service was friendly as well, and the other customers seemed like they were having a good time.
We are and drank here on a Tuesday. They have a good happy hour and great little menu. We had burgers (Jam Burger and Hickory Burger). Both were half price because it was Burger Tuesday. Both were hand made Beef Patties. The side salad was very good as well—great greens no iceberg and nice little bite size pieces of cucumber. Dressing was served on the side. Martinis were $6. I had the Star and a Dirty. Dirty came with three huge cream cheese stuffed olives. My friend had two Divas. We also shared the dip trio with salsa, queso and guacamole. Whole bill was $53. What?
We had chips with dip, and strawberry margarita. Food & drinks were awesome & service is great!
Was sad that they were out of the Big Apple drink, but the New Old Fashion I went with was alright! Great service and yummy food!
