Chicken 65 was excellent…. Nice Tea… Dosa was good but sambar was not so great
This place is good for morning South Indian breakfast and evening snacks. We haven’t explore lunch and dinner so couldn’t write about it. Although there breakfast combos are best in Irving area . For breakfast and snack recommended stop for all South Indian food lover !!!
Used to be my favorite fried rice combo place but these days it’s either hit or miss . Some times the food taste stale and they put lot of sauce on chicken .Hoping they maintain consistency .
It's just soo indian thing here! Very tasty, indian vibe and the tea is just like homemade
Great place to have snacks/Tea in the evening. I also tried their curry combo which is good but doesn’t consistently maintain same taste. Overall good place for Indian breakfast.
Today i visited this restaurant after watching so many good reviews regarding taste of the food but let me tell you guys this is the worst taste i have ever experienced in my life. Me wnd my husband both took buffet, i tasted all the veg items and my husband tasted both veg and non-veg items, starting from starter to main dish each and every items was worst not a single item tasted good. This was my first time in Amaravati and definitely my last.
A variety of options for breakfast. They are super tasty and made freshly. The dishes are served with three different chutneys. You must definitely try this place.
This was my favorite place for breakfast and buffet. Right now it is best for breakfast not a buffet.I tried a buffet here after months. It is not as good as before!
To put my review in context, I did not do the buffet and I went in late evening on a Sunday, so off-hour. Hence did not experience wait time or service issues that others did - so I can’t speak to that.It looks like a primarily takeout place that has some seating, rather than an actual restaurant. So completely self service (which I’m biased but I prefer this over a not good waitstaff). Keeping in mind what their business model appears to be, I felt I can’t be harsh on the dirty tables and nobody bussing them. Sure not an ideal place for a family outing or first date, but great for a quick bite to eat.And oh, the food. From a non-Indian POV (but I love Indian food), I thought the food was great. It’s also very affordable compared to other Indian restaurants, I’d definitely take it over similarly priced American fast food options. I got the amaravati chicken curry with rice. Great spice level, portions that pleasantly surprised me, fair amount of meat, chicken had bones but meat was super tender and fell off the bone easily. So I’m not an expert, but I thought it was delicious!
I actually went there in their banquet hall for an event for about 70 people (what pretty much the capacity is). It was nice. Food was okay. For some reason the gravy chicken did not taste that good. Majority of the food was good. We did run out of few food items during event, but they were quickly replenish. I am sure it was due to staffing. I will use the venue again for event.
