I ate here about a month ago and the food was great my first visit. Today 5/15/22 the food was not acceptable. I ordered fried oysters and the oysters were soggy. They remade the oysters and it seems like they just recooked the first order of oysters. My sons fish was dry and the coleslaw was watery. Not once did the manager come to speak to me about the oysters not being made correctly. I was really disappointed this visit. The waitress was nice and provided good service but the food was not good like it was my last visit. I really hate when a restaurant makes a mistake and does not make any effort to make the customer happy.
Wonderful restaurant! It was delicious, clean, and had such friendly staff. Some friends and I met there for lunch on 3-4-22, and it was all of our first time eating at Catfish & Co. We were NOT disappointed. The menu was full of yummy choices and very affordable. We ordered off the lunch menu and were all extremely happy with the fried catfish and fried butterfly shrimp combo. Yes, we all ordered the same entree, ha! I had a baked potato and fried okra, both delicious. My friends raved about the thick fries, which I plan on trying next time. Hush puppies and butter for dipping them was served before our meal, giving us something to munch on while we waited. The hush puppies for me were okay, just plain and sweet, but my friends loved them. I guess I prefer something with a little more kick, lol.I can't remember the name of our waitress, but she was excellent, refilling our drinks and checking on us regularly. She was very sweet and also took our photo when we asked. The host was a darling man who was very nice, always had a smile on his face, and even stepped outside to take a group photo of us out in the sunlight.I can't wait to go back to try other items on the menu. As you can see, I highly recommend Catfish & Co!
This place is hands down the BEST place to eat in the city. We love coming here and sometimes drive from Waco just for it. Best Cajun catfish, sweet tea, and their low country boils are fire. The staff is always friendly and treats everyone like family! Also, I just tried the RBF cocktail tonight and it was the perfect treat to add to such a good meal! Eat here, you won’t regret it.
To start, people here, always have been awesome. Eating in or take out, people are always nice. Food, I've always enjoyed the food here. Not greasy or any funky after taste.I will say this, if you get take out, check your order before you leave, many times things were left off my order.
Always a hit! My husband and I had Cajun Catfish and coconut shrimp! Portions were large and the food was amazing. Waiter Zachary was excellent!

Thee best fish I’ve had in a while. Fresh, seasoned very well and fried just right it was absolutely magnificent. Even the salad, green beans and hush puppies were flavorful. The service was on point too friendly, fast, engaging. Clearly I’ll be going back.. oh yeah, I’m pretty sure the tartar sauce is homemade
This place was so good. We started with hushpuppies. I think we had 4 baskets of them. They are so good when dipped into butter. The garden salad was fresh. I loved the ranch dressing. It was on the runny side which is how I love it. The coconut shrimp and the Norwegian salmon served on rice were very tasty. I will be going back. Our waiter, Jeff, was friendly and attentive! All around great experience.I got atmosphere photos. The hushpuppies were so good I forgot food pics. :-)
I purchased an order shrimp this afternoon to goI didn't check order once departed restaurant because just picked up wife from hard dialysis session and needed hurry homeOnce she felt good enough to eat discover they had sent catfish dinner instead of shrimp (know I ordered shrimp as wife asked for it twice before calling in order plus she don't like fish -:go figure)I called restaurant to complain yet they denied had order shrimp on multiple occasions.No customer service this jointMoral of store request permission to record your go order to potentially have backup to get replacement orderBetter yet pick another restaurant that sells Fried Shrimp as DFW Metroplex got bunch choose from.Buyer Remorse Here So Beware
