Most of the places and reviews in Dallas that claim to have NY stlye pizza really don't. This is one of the few places I have been to that actually has good NY style pizza, at least for the cheese and pepperoni pizzas. I haven't had any negative experiences but I must say the owner's response to some of the reviews is very off-putting so I will be reluctant to continue and patronize this business.
The owner needs to understand that his advertising flag is misrepresentation. It clearly says Pizza By The Slice. My family and I walked 20 min from our home last Sunday afternoon to get a few slices. When we arrived, he say "we don't do Pizza by the slice". That was upsetting.My guess is that he got a good deal on a used flag. I don't think he understands how misleading this is and once you upset someone they aren't coming back and they'll share the negative experience with others.I hope he takes the flag down. I might give him another chance if I see this correction.
Got the New Yorker pizza as well as the garlic cheese bread. LOVE this place! Really really good!
I found this place close to my house and the pictures looked amazing. I ordered a Brooklyn Special Thin Crust Pizza. I arrived to pick it up and the location had a funky smell. Not sure what it was but it was off putting. I got my pizza, brought it home, and found that they gave me the wrong pizza. I called up there to let them know. They were really nice and told me to bring it back to get the correct pizza. When I arrived they apologized and gave me the correct pizza. When I got back home I found that only half the pizza was cooked and the other half was almost cold. I tried to eat it anyways but found that the pizza tasted like the awful smell that was in the store. It was so bad I couldn’t eat the pizza. I hate to leave a bad review because they were nice but this was absolutely awful.
Been to this place a few times, not sure why it has such good reviews. We've tried a few different things, the baked ziti tasted bland and like the sauce was from a jar. The meatball sub sandwich which was disgusting, soaked in the same jar tasting sauce with meat balls that tasted like hospital cafeteria food, completely unseasoned. The garlic cheese bread, again soaked in the sauce which we weren't expecting should've called it cheese pizza. The lemon pepper wings were nothing special, needed more seasoning and sauce. Last, the ham and cheese sandwich, not hard to mess up on so they go that right but that's not enough for us to comeback.
The best pizza, rivals pizza I have had in NYC. Highly recommend, dine in or dine out. Will be our new go to for pizza!
EXCELLENT pizza. Not greasy. Polite and FAST customer service. I ordered a meatball sub and 16 in. Brooklyn Special and they were ready in 12 min! And my daughter gave a thumbs up to the sub. No dine in. Clean establishment. I WILL be back.
Nailed it! Brooklyn Pizzeria is my new #1favorite pizza joint. This is some of the best NY style I've had outside of NYC.
I ordered pizza and wings....the pizza was good....but these high yellow a.. wings...not fully cooked and they are salty.....nice try but stick with what y'all know and that's pizza.
Absolutely The Best Brooklyn style Pizza Around. Taste is great always perfect so far. only thing I would suggest to them is to teach the young man at the counter some manners I'm all for encouraging new businesses but when the person gives you as an example 45.00 for a 41. dollar order and the client just takes pizza and motions his hand to keep the change , maybe you say thank you ?! and not just shrug without even look up and robotically say have a nice day. .....when you pick up pizza you are not obliged to give a tip, it was your gas and your time.
