Excited to try this restaurant, daughter was really wanting us to go somewhere different while in Huntsville. Ordered two meals, one a fried shrimp platter with onion rings (some of the best rings I’ve had) and a shrimp boil platter. Ordered what we thought was the mild boil as we neither one can handle a lot of spice and was told this would be served that way. First platter came out pretty quick but that the boil would be just a bit. Twenty-five minutes later we get the shrimp boil, it’s spicy and her reply is well next time order it mild… I thought we did! Never got a refill on tea and asked for a to go drink which was not delivered. Paid with my credit card which wasn’t returned, so I had to find the waitress to get it back. Disappointed to say the least!
Me and my husband always enjoy eating here! Nice and friendly staff, great indoor or outdoor dining. Not to mention Great Food. Nice place to wind down on any given day! 2 ??'s up on ALL food selections!
The excellent: The Big E-Z We had a large group and everyone was happy! The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the entertainment, The Kimbroughs sounded great!

Go here if you love fresh oysters, shrimp, crawfish, or catfish! Don’t even think about NOT going! This food rocks! Great oysters( both on the half-shell and fried), fried shrimp, and AYCE catfish. No old-grease taste in the fried fish! The hush puppies were delicious, too, and the service was fast, friendly, and attentive, even with a full house. We live a long way from Huntsville, but if we are anywhere near here again, we will drive out of our way to eat here again. There was also a really talented country-western band entertaining.
Food was better than expected, visiting from Louisiana and that's where friends wanted to go.....we don't usually eat "cajun" food anywhere other than LA! They dust the seasoning on after boiling, which isn't our favorite, but the flavor was still pretty good. The atmosphere is good and the staff was great.
The crawfish plates were great. The fries were good but the chicken fried steak was eh. The drinks were made very well and we had quite a few. The only problem was that we had a party of 8 and a few of the couples didn’t get an itemized receipt. We paid and tipped but we were confused if we had already paid a group gratuity or not. Other than that, the service was fabulous and the live music was very relaxing.
I would like to send a huge shout to Big E's and staff, especially Sarah and Omar. Tonight, we had the opportunity to celebrate a memorable moment and you all made it special. The set up was remarkable, the food was outstanding, and the service was extremely breathtaking. Thank you all for such an amazing experience for family and friends. We applaud you!
We were in town for the day and decided to eat lunch here since they advertised crawfish. Well we were a bit early in the day for the crawfish delivery, however the bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp were delicious!! as were the crab legs, the fried shrimp and fries. The waitress was extremely nice ! We will return again that is for sure. Good food great service and awesome people!
