A very good selection of classic and Mexican food. Service was polite and quick. Food came as ordered and tasted very good. Will return.
Went we got there, we were the only people in the restaurant so service was good, not great. Our server was friendly but seemed like she has other things going on and didnt really want to suggest things on the menu. I asked what her favorite thing was and basically she listed everything that was pictured on the menu. Not helpful at all. By the time we left, there were two men that appeared to be regulars that got a ton of attention. As for the food. Overall, it was good and worth the try. I will probably go back to try more things on the menu since there aren't many places like this. The outside appearance of this place makes it look like they're closed down but obviously not. Took me 3 months to go there because I wasn't sure if they were open.
Fried green tomatoes were perfect: tomatoes were thick enough to hold shape, batter was thin enough to crunch and not overpower. Fried catfish tacos were yummy: catfish was wonderful- not greasy, slaw was fresh and crunchy, not sour, avocado slice was perfect ripeness, hushpuppies as delicious as their aroma. Grilled tilapia was fantastic! Hospitality, Texas country decor, and satisfying southern comfort food to boot! Looking forward to a future visit as we drive through the area.
Great food and nice staff. We had a big group and they were so nice and friendly. I highly recommend this place.
New place to eat.Quality and not expensive. Only negative item was they advertised Purple Hull peas (my all time favorite cause I grew up on those, had to shell them or didn't get them?) but I got black eyes instead. These are two totally different tasting peas. Homemade pies are good. Had the Chocolate Meringues and Coconut Meringue, both good.
Quaint little Mexican cowboy bar, really nice people. Wasn't very busy, word around is that the locals discriminate against Mexicans taking over the business, pretty sad. I'd be a regular customer if I lived nearby. They do have some higher beer prices, but seems to fit in with the area. Margaritas were really good and at 4 bucks we're in lol
The atmosphere oh this restaurant was very Texas and our young server was very helpful. I had a sangria margarita that was tasty . The food was ok but the prices were too high for food we got although prices have gone up everywhere so we must take that into consideration. Overall this was a good meal while traveling.
Sorry but don't bother. We waited 30 minutes and didn't even receive our appetizers. I ordered Blue Moon on tap and was given a bottle. The frozen margarita was barely frozen. The place was not busy at all so no reason for the slow service. We eneded up leaving.
Great ? place to dine in there burgers are awesome, the beer ? is cold the service is great. The restaurant is clean. The atmosphere is laid back. The menu is great from burgers to steak, and fajitas, and Mexican dishes. Bona patit
First time and last time, the wife and I travel alot and love eating out and always trying new places. We had purchase 2 cheese burgers with fries and 1 hamburger with fries to go. When we arrived home smelling the great aroma coming from the bag and then opening it see 3 burnt burgers tomatoes as smaller than a half a dollar, the core end of the lettuce and jalapeno with almost no taste... All 3 orders of French fries were so seasoned there was no point. So bad honestly my dog would not eat his hamburger. Diffently a huge waste of time and $41.09 for 3 sandwiches. McDonald's Dollar menu is a bigger bang for your dollar.
