We love TRH, we’ve been coming here for years, We love to visit TRH in Baytown & Pasadena. We have also visit the location in Lake Charles. This was our first visit to this location and it was the worst experience we’ve ever had. First we asked for a table for 7 guests and were seated at booth that only seated 6. My husband had to put a chair on the end of the table and he was so uncomfortable. We had to ask the waitress for more bread because she never asked if we wanted more (originally they had brought 2 baskets) for a table of 7 adults. When the waitress brought the drinks she said, “I need room”, she placed the whole tray on the table with the drinks on it.(In my opinion that was rude and bad service)6 of us had salads when we finished our salads, we had to stack up the bowls on top of one another to make room (no one picked up the dirty salad bowls) my daughter had to ask one of the waitstaff worker to please pick them up. When the food was brought out by the food runner the waitress never came to ask if everything was ok with our food. Waitress never asked if we needed refills on our drinks (we had to flag her down for refills)From our past experience we know that TRH tapes a receipt on the end of the table so management can go around to check on the tables then they pulls the receipt off the table when they have checked on that table.No manager came to our table and we noticed the tables around us also had their receipt taped after the customers had already left. Waitress never asked if we needed to-go boxes and brought the ticket to the table and set it next to my husband while he was still eating. Worst experience ever and we will NEVER visit this location again. We spent $165 without tip for 7 and it was not worth it. Food was ok but the two that ordered ribs said the ribs were over cooked and they didn’t like them. The waitress didn’t pick up any plates (see picture) that is how the table was when we got up. They were not that busy for the manager not to go around to check on tables. I spoke to one of the manager (female) as we walked out and addressed some of our concerns, WE won’t be returning.
If you want great service and some good selective cook meat choices, then this is spot you have to try. Our waitress Chloe was great at being attentive to us and made sure that we were serve to the best quality service on a busy day too! I hope the company appraised her for this.I would highly recommend this place. Its busy for a reason and that because the staff are doing something good here. Texas Roadhouse is my absolute FAVORITE place to eat....HOWEVER tonight was a HuGe disappointment!!!! We sat in the bar area, we waited 20 mins to be acknowledged as my husband watched who would be our waitress chatting it up with the table behind us. We ended up walking out! SO disappointed!!!! HAD to settle for Mexican food.....UGh!!!!
Sat at the bar for a quick bite. Derrick was our bartender and did a great job. Food was on point as always?

Took my husband to dinner for his birthday. Husband and father in law ordered medium rare steaks but received medium well. One steak was sent back and after waiting 20 minutes for the manager to deliver a new one my husband cut into it to find it was also medium/ medium well. He was hungry so he decided to try it but was clearly not happy. The steak was cooked very unevenly and was actually well done in half of it. We showed the manager who agreed to remove it from the bill and took off with half the steak and all of his fries. When the bill arrived she had given us a $8 discount on a $17 steak dinner. So we paid $9 for a side salad and 1/2 of an over cooked steak with no side. This really could have been handled much better. I’m very disappointed in this experience. Actually had to make him a sandwich when we got home. Happy birthday honey.
Everything things was awesome!! I ordered the 8 oz. Sirloin and Ribs and it was cooked to perfection!! My wife had 8oz sirloin with Shrimp and we both had loaded baked potatoes, my wife also got this new loaded sweet potato and she said it was really really awesome, very tasty!! Over all we really enjoyed our meals but the server could have been a little better , although it was kinda busy!! The prices weren't bad either. Very reasonable!!
great rolls, great sangria and margaritas, the appetizers, the food and most service was excellent this was a great experience for my family
Extremely busy! It was like a 30-45 minute wait. The food was good. However, the starter we ordered was okay. We got wings, tater skins, & rattlesnake bites. The entrees were delicious. Unforgettable, the service was only okay. I do plan on visiting when there is less traffic, perhaps during the week & earlier in the day
Every time we go into a Texas roadhouse we go straight to the bar. There’s usually seating even though there’s usually a long line to get in there. However when we do have to wait it’s no more than 30 minutes even on a busy night. Food is always delicious and hot. The rolls are to die for! The staff is friendly and this place is clean.
