Let’s just say they need to wear gloves when cooking, the place needs to cleaned and new dishes and silverware are absolutely needed. The waitress touches your food without gloves and spills drinks everywhere but still gives it to you as is. It’s not really a hibachi place per say. The salad was not good. Never received the onion soup.. got the veggies at the end of the meal. We were sat with people celebrating a birthday so everything was catered towards them even though we were paying customers also. Overall I would never go to Shoguns again.
Very clean & fun atmosphere. Waiter was very good at explaining dishes & sauces. Great flavors too. Pricey but worth it once in a while.
The grand kids love this place so my wife and I went along for our granddaughter's birthday dinner. The food was ok, nothing really bad or anything but it's typical American style Japanese food. The chef and staff did do a good job making our granddaughter feel special. I think they do a lot of birthday parties like ours.
Went there to grab a quick bite, we ordered two orders of shaggy roll, OMG roll and a bowl of yakisoba.Sushi rolls were good, we enjoyed it. On the other hand, yakisoba was very salty and tasted more like soaked soy sauce.Overall experience was good, clean and nice place.
My visit was not bad it's just why did it take a whole month for the establishment to process my payment for the meal???? Never had that happen to me before. Shogun sent my account into the negatives. It should not have taken that long for that to happen.
Love this place! It’s a date night favorite for my boyfriend and I. The food is always good and everything is done in a timely manner so we are never sitting there bored and hungry. I recommend sake bombs and a sushi roll as an appetizer. My only issue is the lighting at the hibachi tables, it can be overbearing and in your face in some places, I’ve adjusted my seating to accommodate but that’s really my only issue. Love this place
Placed a to go order online to go , they forgot to put my shrimp in my order, saying I needed to remind them to put the shrimp that came with my order in the menu online, when I called up there the female claiming to be a manager wouldn’t give me her name and was very rude and said my food was for a vegan when the fried rice had eggs in it and I order sushi with crab and shrimp I don’t understand why she thought I was vegan. She gave me a cell number to call someone name Mary but she didn’t answer this was horrible service to spend $30.00 on a to go order and not get what I paid for. I will not be going back.
So many negatives….1. waited 1 hour before getting a cook at our table to begin cooking.2. portions are small and expensive3. Food was cold because it took so long for the veggies to be cooked4. Drinks were never refilled5. Took 2 hours to for a Cold mealDefinitely not a place to enjoy hibachi. Asian City is much better.
Food is good but there's never a host in the front when we arrive. We have to wait a while or try to wave someone down to get noticed. Same with the pick up order.
The soup and salad were good. All of the food cooked on the grill was burned - cooked too quickly on on overheated surface. I don't know if it was overheated just to cook quickly and push customers through, or just a circumstance of our grill. Not really any entertainment value either.
