My favorite Mexican restaurant. I love their frozen margaritas. The food was good but not great. I ordered chicken fajitas. I am there mostly for their margaritas. They are always great!
It seems a little pricey but once you taste the freshness of the food and the excellent service we had it’s definitely worth it!!! Yesterday was me and my wife’s first time to dine at Pappas, will definitely be coming back!! I had the beef fajita, quail and shrimp brochette, it was excellent!!
We were hesitant to go to a chain, since on vacation, we wanted to see more local … but we were NOT disappointed!!! We a great experience! Wait staff was wonderful, the manager came by and even gave us some tips for local places on our stay!!! 2 teenaged boys filled to the brim!! We were very surprised!!
Living in South America & having worked at a Taqueria, Pappasito’s passes the test!The Reserva Margarita…oouuu!! ?? Definitely a hit. So much flavor. And worth the extra $2 from the house marg.If you want something close to a burrito bowl (since you already will have carbs via free-and tasty-chips) get the shrimp plate on the back of the menu.Not matter what food you get, ask for and try the green salsa! I came here with my husband on 2/7/2022 at about 3pm-4pm. Our server Freddy was amazing and he deserves 5stars. He was attentive, gave us time to decide what we wanted to eat and even recommended a few things. He noticed they gave us the wrong beans before we can say anything and he quickly fixed it. So why the restaurant gets 3star because everybody around us who were white all had white servers. Now I don’t normally care but it was painfully obvious that the only black couple (us) sitting in a booth had a black server. I am actually glad Freddy was our server because he was the best and the food was good.We shared the medium sizzling fajitas beef and chicken. There was a garlic butter sauce that you pour over the chicken and it upgraded the chicken to whole new flavor. I wished I asked for some to go because that buttery flavor is what all chicken should be dipped in. I almost forgot to mention Freddy asked us how we wanted our beef steak prepared and if we wanted to substitute things for others which is amazing (side note: one of us was allergic to an item). He kept bring us fresh corn and flour tortillas. Like I said this guy had superb customer service.
The food had really good flavors.The service was excellent, our waiter was on it the whole time we were there. We sat at the bar, before the crowd arrived. Our drinks were excellent and they kept the tea coming, which was nice.I had the chicken tacos, great flavor, but it was wet and caused the inside of the tortilla up get very soggy. I had to pick the chicken out and eat it with a fork rather than pick up the taco and eat it like a taco.The beef fajitas were a little fatty, but the flavor was great! They do give you alot of meat in the Medium order though. A bit pricey, but good flavor! No grilled bell peppers in the order, only onions. The rice is really good!The charro beans had a good flavor but sure were dark.The guacamole does have tomato chuncks in it, which I don't care for, but it was good. The flour tortillas were very good and not like most out there. They were a little thick and very soft and had a good flavor, unlike the ones served all the other restaurants that feel like cardboard have no flavor and I can't eat them.Our waiter and server were both GREAT!!!!A bit overrated in price but great flavors and great service!!!
Yo probé las flautas de pollo, estaban muy doraditas y calientitas, la salsa molcajeteada tenía muy buen sabor, en lo personal el arroz no me gusto porque tenía pimiento morron, se los recomiendo
