Stopped by Pappa’s on our way to Houston craving seafood. Thought we would give them a shot. This turned out to be the wisest decision of the day. We got the Cobb salads with blacken shrimp. They were phenomenal. Enough shrimp to have one in every bite. Fresh lettuce and avocados, along with apple wood smoked bacon. They were divine. Our server, Sam, took good care of us. Hot bread and frequent drink refills. She was also very knowledgeable about the menu and assured us that any modifications would be accommodated. Pappa’s was very reasonably priced. We also had the pleasure of meeting Colleen. Very valuable member of the team that went out of her way to make sure everything was just right. Must Stop in Humble!

Amazing food and service! Stayd was amazing, cant what to go back!

Pricey, but great food. And plenty of leftovers…. An extra 2-3 meals for sure ! Well worth the cost ! ?

This was our first time eating here and not only was the food over the top but the staff was amazing. I'm already looking forward to going back.

My mom and I ate here on a Wed afternoon and the food and service was great! Baby lemme tell you, I had the “Dirty Dirty” drink and the name is appropriate! That drink did me dirty, I could barely get up lol…good thing I didn’t drive. It was mixed perfectly though. All the food was great from the house salad, to the jambalaya, to the fried fish/shrimp we had to the shrimp pasta! Will def be back! The establishment was also clean and we had a great seat with a view.

Pappas seafood House is a local institution. No matter what part of the Houston area you go if you see a “Pappas” of any sort you know you’re gonna get fine dining. The problem with Pappas and it’s always been a challenge is enjoying a good plate of food but knowing the bill is gonna be through the roof. So it’s not the every week take the family out to dinner kind of place. It’s more for special occasions like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day or winning the lottery kind of place. Case in point, my party of three enjoyed two cocktails and one glass of middle of the pack white wine. The bill for the alcohol only was $41. Here’s a tip: if all you want is fried shrimp or catfish sitting on a bed of french fries then go somewhere else where you can get that particular dish expertly prepared at half the price. The great calling card for Pappas seafood in my opinion is the grilled fish and seafood. They do it like no other local restaurant. Again if you want great food, great service in a comfortable environment and have one of those high balance credit cards enjoy.

I just HAD to write this review. I ordered the blackened salmon with shrimp (no scallops) to-go. It's a little pricey but hear me out...I was expecting bland healthy tasting food..but to my surprise, it was sooo delicious! I was blown away by the seasoning (not overly blackened) , the generous serving size of the fish, and the flavor. Saucy and seasoned. Shrimp was great too! Who is the cook?Thank them, please! For the price it's worth it.

Service was great and food was good. The salad I had was ok, not a variety of dressings. The fried zucchini was delicious & definitely with marinara. Parking wasn't a issue but concern with location, near exit ramp of 59/69 Interstate. The drinks were good

Expected to wait awhile since they were packed and looked a little short on staff but wow they were hustling and moving and got our food out with minimal wait. Very impressive! Everything was perfect: temperature, taste and portion size. Great job!

Great food and awesome service!! We will be back!
