Ordered at drive thru 1/2 chicken combo with 1 pork rib. Once got order home all set to eat didn't get a pork rib received pulled pork and chicken was not fully cooked. Chicken was tough to pull apart . When open chicken with fork blood was in chicken and unable to pull easily from bone. I was unable to eat chicken and don't like pull pork.
Meat was not very good and in my opinion way over-priced. Went through the drive through and I guess the attendent was having a bad day something cause her attitude was obvious As she seemed annoyed to take my order. If you stay on the side to go there do not order any sides. I paid $3.75 for the macaroni and to had like 20 noodles ?.
Pappas bbq is great. The humble location to me is always busy. Best to order online or by phone for curbside. I usually order a baked potato with chicken or turkey. I love the watermelon drink as well. The cantaloupe drink is too sweet for me.
I was there for New Years with my wife and was very excited to go. After paying for my order the wait was extensive and they didn’t even let me know when my food was done. Hate I paid $65 dollars on some food that wasn’t even worth it. My wife and I are huge fans or the Papa’s franchise especially PapaDeaux.. I won’t let one restaurant tarnish their name so I’m rating it a 1Star experience. Some one needs to hold that staff accountable for lack of responsibility and failing to give the customers great service. After my order the next family behind me almost went off for the extensive wait as well, and they had children with them. Pleas get it together guys….??♂️❌??♂️‼️??♂️
I used to enjoy ordering take out. The rib platter had baby back ribs and the sliced beef sandwich was pricy but a substantial sandwich. They have lost my business! The ribs were not baby back and very fatty. The sandwich was smaller with only a few strips of fatty brisket.

Excellent Texas BBQ. I'm a Connecticut Yankee and I truly enjoyed triple pork platter with BBQ beans and dirty rice. Plus pickled jalapeno and cherry peppers and a variety of homemade BBQ sauces. Delicious. Worth the trip for a long layover from Houston International Airport - instead of sitting there for 6 hours eating airport food. Just a 15 minute Uber ride from the airport.
