Visited for the first time as reviews said it was halal. Asked just to be sure and got the all clear. Food was fresh and staff was courteous. Really tasted great too. Amazing value meal and unexpectedly tender and juicy Po boy sandwich. Fried chicken and fish were hot and well seasoned. Fries were great too. The sauces that came with our meal were so good we didn't bother with ketchup. We ordered coleslaw and it was cold and very tasty. Didn't enjoy the mango slushy as much as the food but still wanna come back. Quantity was awesome.
Chicken was "ok", the fish and shrimp were really good. Only bad thing is, their register is over charging customers. Luckily I noticed the final amount was way too much. The manager gave me a dollar back, but they kept charging new customers the same thing without refunding them.
Today was my first day going into the store. Im from Louisiana and I transferred to Humble maybe 3 weeks ago. The manager James Hart was VERY DISRESPECTFUL!!!!! I wanted to know about the fish and he straight up told me I can go somewhere else to eat and nobody comes in and question their food. I told him as a manager he should never speak to his guest that way. He then said im not about to let no 17 yr old talk to me crazy which I never did but I’m not 17 I’m 28 years old. He had no reason to disrespect me. In the beginning I wasn’t even talking to him personally I was talking to the employee working the cash register. I’ve never felt with anything like this and if nothing can be done I will go to the HIGHEST LEVEL to get this resolved. NOT PLEASED AT ALL!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
Food is very tasty but a bit pricey.. if all items are a little cheaper it will be good people will go more.. to get the fried chicken
The food was great (rice&beans needed salt...but better than them being salty...LOL) the fountain drink machine was out of order so that is why i knocked off a star
I usually go there through the drive thru but I wanted to dine in with some friends and It says they don’t close until 10pm and we were there around 8 but as soon as i entered it felt like i was not welcome there the cashier and other staff had an unwelcoming attitude they said they were cleaning the lobby and we couldn’t eat there. Overall they were not happy to see us .
Not really good anymore! We used to love the Jambalaya, but they changed it for the worst. The dirty rice, changed and doesn't even taste like dirty rice, call it something else but don't call it Cajun dirty rice. Fried Fish has more coating than fish. Fried chicken was better than before which is the only plus but their fried chicken isn't good enough to cause me to go out of my way to eat there. Won't be going back again.
Don't know what everyone's complaining about.. This was our first time trying Louisiana fried chicken and it was excellent! We got everything we asked for and the gentleman behind the drive thru window was nice. Everything was homemade to our surprise... most fast food items are pre-made ( you can tell!) But this place had real ingredients. We will definitely be coming back again!
Arrived at 9:50pm and the crew and manager pretended not be opened. Multiple times walked by window but didn't acknowledge. Closing time is 10pm. I asked if they were open since I know that they like to close before 10pm. But didn't even get acknowledged.
Looks like she was a shift leader that really did not know how to train her staff. So was aggressive with a new cashier by talking rudely to her. Could have been due getting a quick rush in the drive thru. But as a leader myself in a fast pace retail environment...you have to be able to guide and develop. Oh yeah food was good
